I just watched today’s speakers on CSPAN. There were six of them: McCain, Brownback, Tancredo, Hunter, Romney, Paul.

Hunter’s talk had the most meat. He also did the least pandering.

I’m sure Romney has a fine command of facts but unlike Hunter he did not take the opportunity to show it.

Brownback said he didn’t know why his campaign didn’t work. I do. He’s boring.

To all DH supporters- I have in the past said that Hunter should give up, simply because he can’t get anywhere. I have always been impressed with his record, but having said that, if he can’t score better against a crossdressing, pro amnesty, pro abortion, anti gun liberal, then how is he gonna do against her thighness? But I have noticed lately that he may be on a roll, going from 1% to 2 or 3%, and I would LOVE to support this guy if he can improve his own base. Does anyone know why he stays in the basement? Why isn’t DH higher in the polls?

Too many people are being convinced to vote for somebody else because they’re being fed a self-fulfilling prophecy of “only such-and-such can beat Hillary” line.

If people would vote with their hearts, Hunter would rise in the polls, but they’re being fed perceptions to influence their support.

If Hunter were to win the nomination, most Republicans would support Hunter in the general election, and I believe more so than would support a Giuliani and all his baggage.

What polls? I am never called, is anyone else?

I personally believe that most people, when asked their opinion in a poll, try to come up with an opinion they think will please the poll taker.

Why isn’t Duncan Hunter polling higher? If he was in the news and people heard his name mentioned often, he would be. Most people are actually quite ignorant about current events and only repeat what they hear, mostly coming from the MSM. Have you ever seen those man on the street interviews on Jay Leno? We are challenged to overcome the MSM if we want the nominee of OUR choice and not theirs.

It would be interesting to take a poll with the Republican presidential candidates and add Paris Hilton to the mix and see just what her percentage would be. I am betting it would be substantial because of name recognition and the fact that people are stupid.

What in the world is going on with FreeRepublic? Really slow and not working at all at times.

Certainly is getting flaky!

I did some other stuff and finally got FR to load after work. I do so hope the “value voters” see what a wonderful man Duncan is.

But I have noticed lately that he may be on a roll,

Duncan Hunter is on a roll. The problem is that if people were watching the debates, they didn’t get to see the real Hunter. The mods would toss them a good question to the media darlings and toss a question like “if you don’t win the nomination, who will you support?” What kind of question is that?????

When you listen to Duncan Hunter speak about his plans for the future of our nation, he wins over so many voters! When you have 1 minute to explain everything you stand for, it just won’t get out there.

Keep your eyes open, people are starting to listen to Duncan Hunter and they see a man of integrity that has a passion to bring glory to our nation and our people.

I know first hand what kind of impact Duncan Hunter has on people. After last weekend, I believe the tides are a changing. People came up to me after he spoke at the CLC and told me they were supporting Thompson or Giuliani and now they are putting their vote behind Duncan Hunter. It was amazing to see the effect he had on people.

The word is spreading and as mentioned before, people need to vote with their hearts not with what the media tells them to do. I put my support behind Duncan from the beginning because instead of listening to the media, I went out and did my homework. Duncan Hunter is the BEST choice for our nation!

Too many people more afraid of Hillary than they are of doing the wrong thing. The end result means they’ll do the wrong thing and still get Hillary.

No one in the GOP top tier can win because they don’t offer a clear enough choice between themselves and the democrats. Hunter offers a clear choice and he hasn’t had to reform his opinion every time he speaks to a new crowd.
