No, Vlad. Perhaps you’d settle for us giving the insurgents a reacharound instead?

I think the question is this:
Have Peloser, Scarry Reid, the Code Pinkos, and the rest of the commies here in the US been talking to Putin, or has Putin been talking them?

I concur. Joel is ahead of the times with this. EVERYONE should at least read Epicenter. The whole Ezekiel option series is well worth the read too.

I guess Tim King is auditioning for a part as propaganda minister for Putin’s new Soviet Union... Maybe he sees himself as this generation’s Walter Durante.

Putin is only pandering to the Russian nationalist voters
Yes, indeed...Vlad the terrible is providing cover for his power grab by playing the old "US imperialism" card. An old apparatchik can't resist the temptation to keep control, whilst fishing in troubled foreign waters.
Kasparov had better be very cautious; he's now playing the most challenging and dangerous game of his life.

Our enemies want us out of Iraq and so does our Congress. Somethings not right here...A Capitolist Iraq is not in their interest of control of the masses. People want freedom and Iraq is starting to smell it. JMHO

Yes, well sort of. Putin is attempting to tie the Caspian region up by proclaiming that all five of the surrounding Caspian nations are bound by the desires of Russia and Iran. See here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1911856/posts
That the US cannot use any of the other nations in the Caspian as a staging area for an attack on Iran as somehow each nation (read Russia) in the region has a claim on how the other nations use their territories. Russia doesn’t want any pipelines passing through the area (outside of Russia) which would feed the west thus weakening Russia’s energy dominance in the area.
Make no mistake, it’s estimated the Caspian area may contain the world’s third largest reserves of crude and Putin is bound and determined to somehow gain control of those reserves along with those in the Middle East well down into North Africa. That would put him in dominant position especially wrt Europe. He’s now beating his chest on a daily basis and telepgraphing his intentions to the world.
