Did they get that Fat little Bastard?

Apparently not, but they must have gotten someone significant because the Mahdi sympathizers in the Iraqi parliament have been squealing ever since this raid.

getting a motherload of intel out of them when they start to talk.

Over the last several years of battlefield reports, I have gotten the distinct impression that these guys, once captured, are not real hard to break. Or else we are very good at what we do, or both.

Special Groups is what the scumbucket Iranians call their vermin, lowlife, subterranian, worthless, oxygen-wasting operatives in Iraq.

Thanks for your educational post, Allegra.

Marine snipers have had Mookie dead to rights on at least two occasions. Action denied by Navy JAG. This is solid intel and verifiable.

Post a verifiable source for this claim please. Kind of curious how this is possible since the Marines are not, and have not been, operating in Al Sadr’s area.

This is actual factual. It will take me some time to find it, but I know that the reports I’ve read also stated the same. We had him in ‘03 and again in April/May 04, but were not allowed to fire.

EXCELLENT!

This is most excellent!

It would seem that Mookie should be looking over his shoulder, too.

Thank you for the post and ping.

Why not have Special Ops also take care of business every now and then in both Iran and Syria? These two countries continue to help to slow down all of the positive progress in Iraq.

I couldn't figure out from the headline if it was our guys or the enemy who got killed.

I had the same initial impression.

Glad it was them and not us.

Good shootin', guys!

So Gondring, care to explain to us why it is a self styled arch Conservative like yourself habitually uses Leftist blogger slang?

I hadn't realized there was any habit involved, but in this case, the term quite clearly was relevant to the discussion...and was obviously illustrative of the problem the Administration has in convincing people to trust their assessments. Crying Wolfowitz too often means that even if the estimates are correct now, it will be difficuilt to convince anyone.

And I don't recall ever characterizing myself as an "arch Conservative," even when I was far more active in politics. I am going to have to call BS on that one, and ask: care to explain why you use hyperbole and untruths? Dishonesty doesn't really seem to be a conservative value, in my book, but then again, putting the world before the US doesn't either.

.......NO Thanks to the Rats.....

One reason has to be that the Sheiks determined a wise course would be to cease believing Dingy harry and Princess Nancy and the MSM. Once belief in the Rat propaganda is suspended, the future becomes clear and appealing.

Democrats are the enemy of America.
