Paid Family Leave: Hillary’s Panderfest Continues
North Star Writers Group ^ | October 22, 2007 | Herman Cain

If you read my October 15, 2007 column, you can simply replace “America’s Retirement Accounts” with “Paid Family Leave” to describe Hillary’s next step in her march toward socialism. Rather than repeat how this idea is also counter to the founding principles of our country, and how she ignores other serious problems, let’s examine the consistency of her political pandering strategy.

Each installment of Hillaryism targets a different group that feels victimized by a lack of success or some sort of worrisome stress. Not making enough money to support their family, insufficient health care or health insurance, not enough money saved for retirement, and now, not being paid to take time off from work. Of course, none of these conditions are due to any actions or decisions by the respective individuals or groups, but they are due solely to the inadequate assistance from the government, and the excessive greed of the yet-to-be-officially-identified “rich”.

I’m selling my vote to the first candidate who promises me a house on the beach. I know my rights! I’ve got kids, for gosh sakes!

Many people (across the globe, not just us rubes in the naive US), are too ignorant to understand that, it is not the “evil and greedy corporations” that have to fund this politically-driven employee-benefit happy hour.

Ultimately, like all of these entitlements, including forced minimum wages and mandated employer-provided health insurance, the individual pays, and pays DIRECTLY for these socialist goodies.

That is, IF they are working taxpayers to begin with....

Some of us have been around long enough to remember when the Tax system Pre Ronald Regan. Soaked the rich. It did not have the desired effect. Liberals are too stupid to realize these Entitlement programs are paid for by somebody. That somebody is not the Tooth Fairy. When Hilliary gets in here is the likely scenario. Immediate cuts in Defense Spending. This is the quickest way to put money into the economy.

If Liberals spent money fixing and upgrading Infrastructure, on exploring for Energy, on fixing our decaying Power Grid, etc. etc. I might see some ROI on that. But instead their answer is to fund Pet Projects like 10,000 jobs for Feminists. More subsidies for Divorced Women encouraging more Families to dissolve.

When the Luxury tax on Yachts, Planes, Boats came into existence. Working people lost their jobs, the Manufacturers moved operations offshore and everybody lost. Typical Liberal example. Soak the Rich. Trouble that does not work, it costs jobs does not create them.
