The genius of Rush Limbaugh is his ability to distill wisdom into kernels that make sense to millions of Americans. He gave good examples of that talent in the course of his appearance on today's "Morning Joe."
Rush began by praising CNBC's Erin Burnett, a frequent "Morning Joe" contributor.

Joe, Willie and Mika (especially Mika) can stick it. Mika whines and cries everyday about Iraq, and she still refuses to acknowledge the obvious success of the “surge.” They are a hopeless lot, forget em’.

Their ratings are pretty poor, but I agree that his presence elevates the quality of the program.
I think Scarborough supported Rush, and may have contacted him personally during Rush’s recovery from addiction. As they were saying goodbye this a.m. Rush genuinely thanked Joe for his support “over the past three years”.
