The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has released a 300-page report on the infamous zapping of University of Florida senior Andrew Meyer, whose rowdy actions, catch-phrase and police Tasering during a John Kerry town hall forum made international headlines.
''Don't Tase me, Bro,'' Meyer, 21, squealed after police put the screaming, combative student down on the ground and relaxed him with 50,000 volts from a Taser.
FDLE has determined that University of Florida police did nothing improper in subduing Meyer after he resisted arrest.

''While I am pleased that the FDLE review is complete, we still have work to do on a separate front. As an academic institution, it is our responsibility to continually review -- and improve-- how we foster an open environment that is also safe for our ever-changing campus community,'' Machen wrote.
The infamous incident, whose footage has been viewed thousands of times on youtube.com, took place on Sept. 17 during a forum hosted by Sen. John Kerry at the university in Gainesville.
During a question and answer period, Meyer, who grew up in Broward, caused a stir while asking Kerry a line of questions ranging from voter fraud to the senator's alleged membership in a secret society.
After Meyer refused to stop his line of questioning, and his microphone was cut off, the student became agitated when police tried to escort him out of the room.
He resisted arrested and was eventually pinned to the ground, where he continued struggling.
At that point, after seeing that a police officer had taken out his Taser, he uttered the words that have become a pop catchphrase: ``Don't Tase me, Bro.''

Also, according to state code 776.051, justifies the use of force against a person attempting to evade or resisting arrest.
It also revealed that the tasee bragged publicly that he intended to cause a disturbance at Kerry's appearance.
Relaxed him....relaxed him like hell. 50,000 volts will not relax anything. LOL.
Hopefully, these officers have learned a lesson.
I feel sorry for all the FReepers who got took by this clown's dog-and-pony show.
What lesson is that? Learning that they will be second-guessed by idiots when they do their job properly?
Hopefully tazor boy will learn how to act like a civilized human being. When given an order by a cop, obey the order.
Speaking of media, will they give this report as much air time as they gave this liberal puke?
Na, liberals never learn, as a matter of fact per this report, he was giggling about his jail time and media exposure.
Maybe his father will see the light, and begin teaching his son some manners?

That's part of it, but the important part was that they did it for Kerry, and got sold out. It was guaranteed, that's the lesson.
300 pages? Man....as a contractor working for the government....that brings tears to my eyes. Whoever wrote this package....ought to turn their resume over to the Air Force or Army...we can use folks like this. They’ve got potential.

For all those who think this was not justified, then look at the original tape again. He IMMEDIATELY starts saying “Are you going to taze me?” as SOON as the cops come up to escort him away, after his mic is cut off. Not when he’s in the back struggling with them, but when he’s still trying to speak on the mic.
When someone says that so quickly, that IMMEDIATELY sets up in the officer’s mind that tazing might be a possibility. It’s confrontation. It’s begging TO be tazed. It’s foolishness.
