Dean: Bush Republicans Blocking the American Dream October 24, 2007

Washington, DC - Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued the following statement today after the White House issued a Statement of Administration Policy opposing the DREAM Act and Bush Republicans blocked consideration of the bill in the Senate: [White House Statement of Administration Policy, 10/24/07]

"Senator Reid and the Democrats in Congress deserve a lot of credit for working toward solutions for border security and immigration reform. Republicans ought to be ashamed of themselves for continuing to stand in the way of both. Children who came to our country with their families in hope of a better life, often in their infancy and through no fault of their own, and who call America home deserve a shot at the American Dream. These kids want to serve in the military and go to college, hoping to succeed and give back to our country. What could be more American? Republicans' actions today, denying immigrant children an education after they denied 10 million American children health care, do not represent the values our country was founded on."

Hey Howard, how about the Dream for everyday Americans? You might remember them, the people who get up every day, go to work, raise their families, pay their taxes, play by the rules, vote for representatives who profess to care about their situations. The ones who are struggling to put their kids thru college, help their elderly parents and keep themselves fiscally sound. Give a d*mn about them? I am so sick of this cr*p.

The DREAM Act is anti-immigration...

The children of REAL immigrants are left out of this...

Nowhere did I see the word illegal. I don’t care about thee “children”. They are in my home illegally and I an them out. The fact that their vermin parents brought them into my home makes their presence no more tolerable. Anything unpleasant that may and should befall the spawns of the reconquistas is the result of the criminal and dishonest actions of their sires.

Funny thing is... ONE MUST BE AN AMERICAN TO ENJOY THE AMERICAN DREAM... and no puke dim is going to circumvent out Nations Laws to gift it to illegals! Come to America playing by OUR rules... or pi$$ off! That is the way that I see things.

McCaskill is a Bush republican?

Yeah, uh-huh.

In a positive development the Bush administration released a statement it did not support this bill. Sure, their reasons don’t seem to make sense given their support for the previous amnesties, but apparently even they wanted nothing to do rhetorically at least... wth passage of this bill after getting their butts kicked numerous times over this issue. Would he have VETO’d this? I have my doubts, but this was actually an improvement for the President. he didn’t attack the GOP base/legal Americans this time.

but for harry to then move to link Bush Republicans to filibustering amnesty...LOL!!! Bush Republicans (KBH) are pro-amnesty. It’s the conservatives (people like deMint and Sessions)/American people that are not. but, hey, if Reid wants to link in the American people’s minds that Bush Republicans are as “one” against amnesty in an election year...who am I to tell him no? McCackill and Co. might have a few words for him though. Mary is already facing a tough election in LA, doubt she’ll be thrilled about this.

Hey Howard, this means that if I take my daughter, and move into your house, you get to pay for her college, since it was through no fault of her own, right?

Oh, right, keep forgetting, rules only apply for the little people. Gotcha.

Trust Howlin’ Howie to misrepresent what actually happened. The Republicans aren’t blocking the American dream, they’re blocking the DREAM Act; an effort by our treasonous, duplicitous, slimy political elites to grant amnesty to illegals, despite the fact that most Americans oppose this very action!!

Howlin’ Howie is still proviong that he never saw a lie he didn’t love!!

Coward Bean must be on the sauce again! Bush is for the Dream Act. Healthy Republicans are against it!

A few Bush Republicans who need to lose their jobs are:

Brownback - Kan.
Coleman - Minn.
Collins - Maine
Hatch - Utah
Hutchinson - Texas

There is nothing whatsoever preventing you and your rich Demohack friends from adopting these stray mutts. But Branjolie, Mad_Donna, and the rest of the yapping Hollywood millionaire brats would rather go snatch kids out of the jungle and bring them here.

By the way Howard, it is my DREAM that you, Durbin, Reid Kennedy, Kerry, (Lord I could go on and on) be aborted by your mothers. It's only your 239th trimester. Is it too late?

Twaddle. Mad Howard thinks "border security" means giveaways for illegals? Thanks but no thanks. I don't want them to be part of the American Dream!
