Notice that the academic representative of Emory said he "could not recognize any of the students." Has the Dean ever heard of photographs, videotapes? Or, is he just seeking to avoid any punishment of the students who richly deserve punishment?

Yes, Emory deserves its blackeye. It's administration obviously failed.

Anyone at Emory stand up for Horowitz’s right to speak? If they did, I might give Emory some respect.

Gees, for once we must give Emory credit for extending diversity to mean the opinion of others that don’t subscribe to the suppression of political correctness.

“another faction in the audience who became increasingly vocal about their desire to hear him speak uninterrupted.”

Quote lifted from the article.

It’s not unusual for colleges to open up events like this to the public. But I think that with an experience like this one, they will have to re-assess which events can be open. It’s too bad.

The protestors imagine themselves as being in the forefront of tolerance to lead into the future ... their behavior exposes them as just a bunch of pliant followers. Somebody says, "TURN" and they comply in unison. Notice the "experienced" protestors displaying their adherence to groupthink.

I’m sure that if anyone who was at the event posts pictures of the evil-doers that they can be outed quickly enough

Isn’t Emory home to the Jimmy Carter anti-America/anti-Israel Policy Center for the Bitter?

“You don’t impress me with your great moral purity,” he said to them. “Please don’t shout your ignorance at me.”

I have no doubt that he was much kinder in his dismissal of the hecklers than they were of him.

It has to be frustrating to present material about the evils of fascism to a room full of fascists.

Emory University is also home to the Carter Center of DJimmah Carter, friend to fascists everywhere.

Now, the disruption of David Horowitz's speech should not come as a surprise to anyone, especially the security at Emory. Why wasn't the first disruptor grabbed and removed immediately?

The Emory administration is complicit in this suppression of speech. Again, this is no surprise. I hope Georgia voters take notice. I hope Georgia politicians make this an issue and demand that Georgia's universities defend it's students rights.

I have simply stopped giving any money to my alma mater, UMass. Not one more dime until the Marxist bastards running the place are gone. I encourage all my classmates to do the same and many have.
