IARHSI, He would have folded up his tent and retired from public life in disgrace, because Republicans are not happy when they are so rock-hard stupid as this.
Every indication I’ve seen/heard is that this guy is the dumbest member of Congress, though I believe Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania may have assumed this title when he beat Santorum last year.
There is no doubt any more in the mind of any rational person that there is a big double standard and that the media and the left have created it.
They let their own get away with racism, but crucify conservatives for nothing.
I think some prominent conservative SHOULD say these words. Verbatim and without attribution, exactly as Biden did. There’s a good chance that most of the media would not be sharp enough to realize it’s Biden’s words, and there’d be a major outbreak of righteous wrath against the conservative.
It could as well be done with John Edwards’ comment about African-American men all going to prison or dying.
