I went to the ACU website and downloaded their ratings into an excel file.
McCain life time rating ranks number 39 of 100, half of the 100 are dems
He beat LUGAR, GRASSLEY, COLLINS, COLEMAN, HAGEL
That isn't saying much
I have my faults with Rudy on gun issues, his police state type mind frame. On the other hand, I certainly like his complete support for the WOT (and CinC GWB on the issue). I like that Rudy WILL take the fight to the DEMs (say what you like about him on issues, but the man will stand up and go on the offensive for issues he believes in).
Thompson seems good (but what do I really know at this point on him). I have concerns about him simply being outworked by the DEMs.
Reagan would vote for Hunter.
McCain vs Giuliani? Tough call.
McCain vs any other Republican? Give me the field.
