They come here to work? Put ‘em on road gangs cleaning up all the trash.

They should clean up the trash they're leaving all over the border areas, including in some National Monuments. It's disgusting.

"It's not an effective deterrent," said Jennifer Allen, executive director of Tucson-based Border Action Network.

Just like the death penalty isn't a deterrent. I'm not aware that any executed criminals have committed any more crimes, except perhaps voting for Democrats.

Jennifer Allen
BAN

Border Action Network
aka Border Alliance Group

This group is suspected of being closely tied to left-wing radical Morris Dees and his Southern Poverty Law Center, 'Mexican government agent' - vehement reconquista Isabel Garcia and her Aztlan gang, 'Derechos Humanos', and other anti-American groups.

Here...

Jennifer Allen, of Border Action Network, a Tucson- based immigrants' rights group. "The conditions for once are on our side." -- "The border has been discussed and reframed as if border communities are pawns to be moved around or don't even exist," Allen said.

...and why should we send people to prison for attempted murder? That’s just postponing the inevitable.

Give the invaders something useful to do prior to deportation.

This artcile in AZ, and the following thread in TX.

Maybe they are finally waking up.

Immigration crackdown expands along border (TX)

It is ironic that they can use existing laws. TX Rep Culbertson said they could have been using them all along, because Yuma and Del Rio already does.

That would indicated that Tony Snow, George Bush, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Ted Kennedy, Arlen Specter, et al., crying for Comprehensive Immigration Reform -- because we need the laws -- was nothing but the shellgame shamnesty many of us though it was.

I’ve been saying all along E.T.L.! What we need all across all of our borders, and at every air terminal is Judge Dredd. Da Law is Da Law!

Allen also worries how detention facilities already stretched to the limit will adequately handle a major influx of people.

Well, Ms. Allen, Sheriff Joe Arpaio already has a program in place to deal with this should it happen-- tent cities.
