Understanding the relationship between Behar and Bechukotai is critical to understanding the history of the children of Isra'el and the land. It is an understanding that from what I can tell is totally missing in the Talmud.
I'm writing an article on the subject now. Publishing it will have consequences but the facts and the logic are too compelling to ignore.

These are two very different levels of understanding.

Silly Rabbis, Trix are for kids.Then they tried to entertain them, to keep their minds off the stress. One began, "Watch me pull a rabbi out of my hat!"

YHvH's larger plan of salvation, where His People are blinded for a time,
in order to bring His salvation to the gentile nations. NAsbU Romans 11:15 For if their ( His Chosen People ) rejection is the reconciliation of the world,
what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
And their ultimate salvation after a period of blindness is guaranteed by YHvH's covenant : NAsbU Romans 11:25 For I do not want you, brethren,
to be uninformed of this mystery--
so that you will not be wise in your own estimation--
that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until
the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written,
"THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION,
HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."
28 From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake,
but from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;
29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

The land of Israel is intended in these passages, and has nothing to do with the environmentalist nuttiness which set the stage for these blazes.

There is a revelation that is being released to the Body of Christ that our brother Judah has been in covenant with YHVH throughout the past 4000 years known as the Abrahamic Covenant. Through the acceptance of the marriage contract at the foot of Mr. Sinai Judah the Jews, and all of the other eleven tribes Israel, entered into another covenant with HaShem which is still valid today.
It is we, the scattered Israelites who became Gentiles, who are coming back to the Covenant to be reconnected with our Father BACK INTO THE MOSAIC COVENANT. Judah is the older brother in the Prodigal son parable, we are the younger brother Israel returning.

The land of Israel is intended in these passages, and has nothing to do with the environmentalist nuttiness which set the stage for these blazes. The ecological principles behind those passages map very well onto the Mediterranean climate and topography of Southern California. Their attributes are also beneficial to species complexity and adaptability, generally contributing to a system considerably more rugged than it is now. Their political consequences are more than interesting, basically constructing an unconquerable nation extremely resilient to natural disaster.
