Hamas will move from the state of self defense to that of attacks against Israel, a Hamas political leader said on Tuesday, adding that he was told so by a senior military commander.
"A few days ago, I have met Hamas' military wing chief, Mohammed al-Def, and he told me we will start attacking Israel instead of just defending ourselves," Hamas political leader Ahmed Nimr told Hamas supporters during a rally in southern Gaza Strip. "The al-Qassam Brigades are ready now and wait the orders from the political levels to strike inside the heart of Israel, the occupation entity, if they did not stop the killings and operations in Gaza Strip," Nimr added, quoting al-Def, according to Ynet.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Tuesday warned of an impending military operation in the Gaza Strip against Hamas and rocket infrastructure. "Every day that passes brings us closer to a broad operation in Gaza," Barak told reporters in northern Israel, according to AFP.
"We are not happy about it and we would be happy if circumstances would prevent it, but the day is definitely nearing," he said.
On Tuesday evening, Palestinians fired a barrage of some 10 mortars that landed south of the coastal town of Ashkelon, causing no casualties or damage.

This is the cvrap that happens when they are nice and give the Palestinians their own land. Aren’t they also planning on dividing Jerusalem to give to the Palies? What kind of mess that will become if that ever happens.

Rockets and homicidal bombers don’t count to Hamas (OR the State Dept.).

Hamas will move from the state of self defense to that of attacks against Israel, a Hamas political leader said on Tuesday, adding that he was told so by a senior military commander. Israel should change from a state of self defense to that of attacks and continue until the Palestinian anti-Isreal rhetoric stops with a written declaration from Hamas or the annihilation of Hamas which ever comes first.

They should flatten Gaza with bulldoziers. Simply start on the northern end and not stop until they reach Egypt.

Yeah, that would show those pesky terroristic thugs.

They should flatten Gaza with bulldoziers. Simply start on the northern end and not stop until they reach Egypt. Think strategically.
Use the IAF to flatten Syria and I guarantee the Hamas terrorism would dry up in the Gaza.

The Islamofascists work late into the night building their rockets and Israel keeps the lights on for them...

The Islamofascists work late into the night building their rockets and Israel keeps the lights on for them... Do you mean to say "Iran works late to build the rockets, Syria works double time to deliver them to Hamas, and Hamas works a multiple shift to launch them"?

Yeah thats the problem, Israel shows mercy and lets them regroup and rebuild to start the rocket cycle over again ad nauseum. Usually it's not Israel showing mercy... There has been nothing but violence in that region for 50 some years because God will never let the Pali's win and the world won't let the Israeli's win....

Let's see. The Pallies were attacking Israel when a peaceful partition was proposed in 1948. They were murdering civilians off and on until the full scale attack in 1967. When they got their a** handed to them, they whined and demanded return of the lands they attacked Israel from. While Israel offered to consider land for peace, they regrouped and attacked again in 1973 with the same result.
They whined and moaned and got a lucky break when the American people were dumb enough to elect Jimmy Carter. They got some of their lands back, but continued their low intensity warfare of attacking inside Israel.
When Reagan was elected, they actually backed off, but continued to whine and threaten. Reagan made things so good for America and the world, including Israel, that the Pallies had to find new sponsors. When the Bush I-Clinton administration softened, they saw their opportunity to strike again, promising peace for land. The Israelis delivered on their promise, even forcibly removing their own settlers as Bush II continued the basic Clinton policies of "keep the Jews in America happy but screw the Jews in Israel."
And now, they perceive we and Israel are weak willed enough that further concessions will be made with threats of attacks. Therefore, I propose a different type of land for peace agreement as follows:
- All lands ceded back to the Pallies by Israel will be marked by grids.
- If the origin of the attack can be determined, Israel will reclaim the land from which the attack was launched, including any necessary to provide access.
- If the origin cannot be determined, then the first sector of the numbered grid will be annexed.
- If and when attacks intensify, then more areas of the numbered grid will be annexed in direct proportion to the severity of the attack.
- Lands thus annexed will have Pallies living there in expelled and buildings bulldozed unless Isreal deems them useful.
- Pallies deemed useful such as Christians or informants may be allowed to remain upon taking and honoring an oath to live under Israeli rule.
- Process will be repeated as necessary until: (a) attacks cease, or (b) all Pallies other than those deemed useful to Israel have been expelled.
- Note: The Medditerranean is big, warm most of the year and rafts are cheap to build-- much cheaper than walls.

How about we just let Israel vaporize a few million Palestinians and she if that would help? I’m guessing that it would slow down the next unprovoked attack.
