All .. this is the email I just sent to my list of folks that I alerted re: TOBY.. most of you dont know the area/landmarks I describe but I am just too exhausted to re do it all..

Toby is ALIVE & HOME... after being gone about 36 hours..I want to sincerely thank you all for your notes & prayers & encouragement. I was crying & shaking after I got the call.. Had been crying & pretty depressed most of today.

ESP thanks to Karen B who did a mega dose of emailing/contacting etc & to John P who with a very swollen & painful leg was in the woods both day for hours & also last night in the wee hours of the morning doing heavy duty hiking/searching/calling

Toby turned up quite a few miles from where he was last seen.. He was heading south - and I live NORTH (towards his buddy Tippy maybe?” ) and the people who found him are about my age & He owns a hardware store on Hudson Drive (in the falls).. in vicinity of Rocknes & she works at Goodyear aerospace in Brecksville. Her first comments on phone were that they were already in love with Toby & so was there yellow lab & if I didn’t want him, they sure did!

One scary note is that one the way there my CAR was attacked. I heard what sounded like a gun shot & & heard glass shatter. It was my side view mirror .. those of you who know the area it happened at the stop sign at Brandywine as I was turning right/south on Olde Eight. I stopped at the fire station at Boston to check it out & the second causality was my cell phone in my lap that fell on the ground when I got out of the car. I stopped at the police station to make a report but no one was there.

The cell phone is not working at this point. - I cannot turn it on. so those who might try to call, I am not ignoring you - most of you know that is my only phone. I have the charger in it now & the light is red /on but I cannot turn it on. Maybe the Cingular people tomorrow can do a little magic on it..

I hope if you have hardware needs you will go to see Tony at his hardware store and tell them you are friends of TOBY & DOLLY.. I intend to do my shopping there,..

I am pretty tired as I didn’t sleep last night. Toby is exhausted & Josy is pretty tired also as she was running in woods with me most of day looking etc.
