I heard Honorable Mayor Street fumble with the words, saying that the state, the city and the whole country must do something about................................... "the guns" of course.

Our guns out in the surrounding areas have working safeties and don't kill on their own like they do in Philly.

I heard the Mayor Street say today that its because of the breakdown of money for services because we are spending all our money in Iraq...and at another point he said it was because of a "lack of respect for authority" - this is the same guy who as plain old John Street thirty years ago used to routinely disrupt city council meetings and shout down public officials when he didn't get his lefty demands met - it makes my head hurt.....

Connection between the murders? Gangs? What?

Since Street took over as Mayor the city has gone downhill. As much as I dislike Slick Eddie Rendell, everything that was accomplished during his reign has been undone and then some. The murder rate in Philly rivals anywhere. The only thing Street is concerned about is lining his own pockets. Oh wait and the pockets of his relatives. He always was pathetic. I still cant believe people were stupid enough to make him mayor. Everything is coming to fruition under Street. The sad thing is that the people in Philly wont see it, and stand by the bozo. The gangs? Yeah that would be the Street gang.
