Claiming that “too many guns” is a cause of crime is an admission of incompetence by any public official who makes such a claim. Any such official should be fired from his job or office.
Entirely too much shooting of police, too little shooting of criminals.
The only factor I can see that's different from the past is the dramatic influx of mexicans the last two years. Not that they're involved, it's probably too expensive for many of them to buy guns... yet.
Probably has more to do with unskilled young males not having the jobs washing dishes and windows. Idle hands.

That was the third cop shot since Sunday. I heard the Mayor Street say today that its because of the breakdown of money for services because we are spending all our money in Iraq.
Yep thats what the idiot said. Of course it has nothing to do with his corruption and idiocy. Or his lack of leadership in the city and his selfish agenda.

Oops, you left out the DemoRats. Although, we might give you credit for “gangs” to cover them. Little difference really, if any.
The War against Crime is lost. Bring the cops home.
Not yet, our mexicans are in loosely organized gangs that roam the streets late into the evenings, drinking and urinating on the sidewalk.
It's a pretty good bet, though, that MS13 will organize these guys into recruits to prey on other illegals, and then, whoever comes in handy.
As far as I am concerned almost all of our cities are quagmires where tens of thousands are killed every single year for no benefit whatsoever, and the politicians never get any less crooked, corrupt, and dishonest.

Obviously guns have to be more rigidly controlled. Illegal guns must be outlawed and shooting police officers must be outlawed. That will take care of the problem.
I’m sure the RATS that run the city have put out an APB for the Amish involved in this Trot-by Buggy shooting of the LEO.
At least they only hate cops in San Francisco. In Philly, it’s not enough merely to hate them. They shoot them.
