Isn't that just like the socialist Dems? Solve a problem by pumping in more money.

Well, when all you have is a hammer everything starts to look like a nail.

I made the following comment on a thread that is now locked because it is a repeat. Please excuse me but I confused Russert with Bob Beckal.(sp) Russert is still a toad even if he did ask Clinton a question that caused her trouble.

Several years ago, Russert was a co-host of a radio program with Pat Buchanan. He made a telling comment one day. (paraphrase)”My father was a union organizer. When it comes to the spotted owl,he would have said, get the out chainsaws.”
It was clear he supported the idea.
Since he has put his addiction behind, he is again able to reflect some of the clear thinking his father expressed.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) top advisers, doing damage control after the candidate’s debate performance Tuesday, told supporters on a conference call Wednesday that the campaign needed more money to fight back.

Oh, please.

Seems the other candidates missed a golden opportunity for themselves

They did. I think they were unprepared for a serious goof on her part and were caught flatfooted as the moment came and went. They won't let that happen again though, and they have two more debates to go before Iowa.

I think the facial expressions of the two men and her speak volumes. The White guy is saying "here, learn how to use these, stupid, before you get knocked out." The Black guy is looking at her like she's some kind of untrustworthy nutcase. She's laughing like a hyena in heat over something not very funny--par for the feminist "laugh of rage." Quite a scene.

Further this story reminds me of the high school girl who wanted to play football with the boys and when she finally got in the game a male from the opposing side cracked her ribs on the first play. As a result the family tried to sue the school. What do women expect, a free ride.

Are you kidding with this?

Texas fell for that in the 1990 election campaign between Ann Richards and Clayton Williams. Williams, a somewhat crude west-Texas rancher and oilman, incurred the wrath of the liberal media by calling Richards a liar to her face and refusing to shake hands with her at a debate. Richards won the election on the basis of being a "poor, innocent woman, mistreated at the hand of the barbarian", rather than on any issues--which if the issues had been raised, she would have lost big-time as she did in 1994 against George W. Bush.

Following the 1990 election, Richards showed her true leftie colors, joining with environmentalists to use supposedly endangered species in preventing ranchers from using their properties. In addition she created an auto emissions inspection program and sole-sourced it to an incompetent minority/woman-owned firm and that really incensed the auto-driving public.

Quite a scene is right...and such an act!

Well, Brit's Panel certainly changed its tune tonight (perhaps they read my previous posts...). Last night they defended Mrs. Clinton saying she was SO tough standing up to all those boys and the only "grown up you could trust" standing on the stage.

Tonight Mara admitted she is indeed vulnerable and that damage was done. And old Mort was quite firm saying that playing the victim was no way to act if you want to be the C-in-C of the leader of the free world. “This is not Wellesley vs. Smith in a field hockey match!” Fred ended with a list of issues where she has to give a straight answer: Iran, illegals & licenses, Social Security and her locked up archives (which Brit quipped apparently show “her experience”).

If she can’t handle six metrosexual Democratic candidates, how is she going to handle the real dangerous men in the world as President. That thought scares the crap out of me and should do the same to everyone else in this country. She ain’t qualified, period!

Is this the Hillery Scream or her JFKerry flipper moment? IMO, she has been winged and the inevitability of her in the WH has taken a BIG hit and opened a number of cracks in her facade that will enforce the thought that she is not fit for the Presidency or really any serious leadership role.

Actually I think it is a whole lot worse than that. She was running against G. Bush/wrong, and she just came apart on a clear yes/no issue like Dl for illegal aliens, and then 12 hours later she came down against USA on that. And that is not to mention her histrionics.

Timing is pretty good too, the Dims will have to cover for her since all their other candidates are just as bad!

There are plenty of opportunity's for Gore or another to enter the race.
