The abomination, Dome of Rock, should have been dynamited as soon as the Israelis got hold of the area. Their action would have been very similar to what was done to the synagogues in Jerusalem after the Arabs blew many of them up in 1948.
Bulldozing would be sweeter because it would take longer and leave the site ready for any subsequent construction. :’) You’re right, this should have been done in 1967.
