Do you mean the one about Thompson in the futures markets?
That post wasn’t pulled. It was exactly the same post.

Or are you talking about our Formula1 exchange on a Hunter thread that I started?
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1917686/posts
Yes.
I'm so glad someone finally said that! Hunter is definately in my top two list. Unfortunately, some of his supporters remind me of a Paul supporter who had my ear for 24 hours. sheesh
I would love to see the Hunter supporters lose the 'red headed step child' aura (no offense to red heads or step children!).
Oops, I meant to say Yes, see post #81. No abuse button on that thread, so I’m still scratching my head.
I’m just trying to figure out where the obvious flip flop is. It’s obviously not the issue at hand, which would be the New York drivers’ license law and Hillary’s handling of the issue in the debate, and, frankly, I don’t see where Fred’s been particularly inconsistent on illegal immigration in general.
Perfection still alludes me, but only on Thursdays...
The latter...
I don’t think I said anything about the former being pulled either...
Even in the debates, the biggest difference Hunter and Thompson had with each other is MFN Trading Status of China. This is tiddly winks compared to anti gun/pro abortion Rudy, flipper Romney, open boarders Huck, or surrender monkey Paul.
How about if we all BOOST Hunter and Thompson and let the voters decide instead of turning off people to our respective candidates by being a**h****. (the last wasn’t targeted at anyone in particular.)
Seems a tick hypocritical...
But I am an A**h***, just ask my wife...
;-)
The latter...
***Then, what you’re saying is:
Kevmo: “Ive stayed away from the Fred threads in order to not knock down a good conservative.”
ejonesie22: Can I quote you on that in regards to our earlier conversation....
Looks like we have two F1 cars indeed...
***Yes, you can quote me, especially because that thread was a Hunter thread.
I’ve recently started getting interested in Intrade and I will comment on Fred on those threads. Where’s the indignation on the Fred-Tanking-on-Intrade thread? It’s the same exact post.
****************
Not me. I saw that thread, and it seemed to me that it was the supporters of other candidates that were pushing that idea.
That's a brilliant idea.
I simply was pointing out that you called Fred a good conservative. In light of our F1 posts I find that interesting. Nothing more to it, relax.
Hear, hear!
I'm usually one for 'voting for the lesser of two evils' but say Bush was able to run again versus Hillary. I'd most definitely vote third party because Bush is intransigent on amnesty for illegals.
Seems a tick hypocritical...
***I agree. No indignation for the same post on a different thread,
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1919127/posts?page=123#123
but being called scum for the same post here.
I think the explanation for the hypocrisy from the Fred crowd is that they’re here defending their guy on immigration and they’re used to having Hunter supporters play hard ball. But I usually stay away from the Fred threads. In this case, the FredHeads stayed away from the Fred-tanking-on-Intrade thread because, well, I don’t really know why they stayed away. Maybe because it was too much trouble, they’re tired of the fight, they got caught off guard, they don’t know about Intrade, could be a lot of things. Also, the Fredheads have been pretty quiet on the LAT story-quashing rumor as well. Probably for similar reasons. So here comes a Freeper that plays hardball on those 2 threads, comes into this thread and the fredheads get up in arms. That is an indication that the Fred Followers have started to abdicate their responsibility to defend their guy on those prior threads.
My post that got pulled on this thread is a copy of the post on another thread. Where were the Fred followers on those threads? Getting all upset about it now is just what you say it is, hypocrisy.
Then use it strategically on the RINOs. There are plenty to go around.
Yes, I do think Fred is a good conservative, for the most part.
Even on our Formula1 exchange I had called his position on immigration as johnny-come-lately, IIRC.
BTW, I thought that was a pretty good exchange, the formula1 thing.
