Anyone here a graduate of Saint Ignatius in San Francisco? (Vanity, d'oh)

My daughter "shadowed" a ninth-grader there yesterday and fell in love with the school.

Just wondering if anyone here went there or knows someone who did, and if so, if they have any thoughts or opinions about the school.

Played against them in football. They were a powerhouse at that time.

They still have a pretty good football team. Not sure that that will be a decision factor for me OR my daughter... ;-)

I graduated in 1996. SI is a fantastic school. The growing endowment is enabling ever more qualified students to attend free of charge. Terrific faculty and great track record of gettting kids into good colleges. Obviously I’m biased, but this Jesuit school instills the best in kids.

Leave SF before you become a blithering idiot like my BIL.

Sorry...had to say it.

If I could find someone to... uhm...rid me of that turbulent ex-wife I'd move in a heart beat. Unless that happens, I'm here till daughter goes off to college.

That’s my thinking. Just looking for some confirmation. Thanks!

Believe it or not, I have Roman Catholic friends who are very suspicious of Jesuit education, but this is one Protestant who is a great admirer of the educational standards at schools run the the Society of Jesus.
