Going to grocery store. Have “Friends Day” at church tomorrow and another big meal. We will be having a gospel quartet which is unusual for our church. The group is called “The American Quartet and features two of the ‘Stamps Quartet’, a group that once backed up Elvis.

Hi all.. sorry for the delay in getting her today.

I seriously sprained my ankle last evening after a day of incredible business & fatigue in many ways. . Lost footing & went over atop of my foot. This has NOT been a good past week in may respects.. but I am so glad to have Toby back & alive & again thank you for your notes , prayers & thoughts.

My chiropractor is my primary physician & went to him this AM.. He xrayed to verify nothing broke.. I KNOW my body, I knew that. But what I love about naturopathic & chiropractic physicians they DO SOMETHING other than give you pain killers & tell you to ice .. the RICE routine many of you know.

After three hours there I was walking.. yes, still pain but reduced & improved . Will go a few times next week I literally crawled into the office. Friend/WAker Wheelbarrow was a pet & drove me so I wouldn’t have to. This was/is a big sprain.. I heard it snap & of course felt it. It is probably my 10th foot/ankle sprain.. and I have had them in groin, knee, elbow & shoulder. Being a PE teacher in past & a klutz my whole life contributed.

Treatment included electric stim, traction (the physical therapist did it with me.. ouch it hurt), heat .. yes heat is the way they go.. to increase circulation & healing.

Will go in a few times next week.

We got some items on way home that I needed from store & I bought him breakfast at our Mexican place.. as breakfast was about noon, my desert was a margarita.. Will try to sleep some this afternoon.. supposed to go to a jazz outing tonight.. friends of mine are playing (and one of them was my HS Chemistry teacher)..how cool is that? He is really not that much older & at that time was a real hottie.. He is no longer a hottie (although men of his age are)... but he is now a friend.

How did you make out with weather yesterday?
We had some wind and rain. It was a good day to watch movies. I did see a tree had fallen down the street. I suspect it was a very old tree though.
No power lost here. I hope you didn’t have that trouble.
