Vice President Dick Cheney this afternoon said he is convinced that a Republican candidate will win the 2008 presidential election, but declined to say who he thinks is the favorite.
"I frankly think a Republican will win the '08 election. There's no question in my mind," Mr. Cheney said during an interview with a conservative radio-show host in Dallas, Texas.
"But I have stayed scrupulously neutral. I didn't want to tilt it one way or the other," Mr. Cheney said.
Mr. Cheney said he and President Bush are in the same position and do not want to say which Republican candidate they favor.
"It wouldn't be fair to whoever I didn't name," Mr. Cheney said. "Or, on the other hand, if I named somebody, it might not help him."

Fine, then let’s make sure it’s a conservative. No need to go liberal.

Mr. Cheney said. "Or, on the other hand, if I named somebody, it might not help him." LOL! Anything can happen in the next year, but the Democrat candidates are a bunch of light weights (the last debate proved this). Front runner Hillary's phony facade will not survive a national race no matter how hard the MSM tries to cover for her.

LOL The thought of what Her Thighness The Borg Queen would do to this country makes keeping her out all the more imperative, but I'd
would prefer to do it the honorable way.

I don’t think so.
And frankly, with what’s coming ahead, I’d rather a Dem have it happen on their watch, despite what unfolds.

I sure hope this person is a real conservative and not one of the RINOS they are trying to shove down our throats.

Well, at least then your open to the idea of outright theft of an election. That would put you in company with most of the DNC!

Cheney is awesome. I’d love to see him receive an appointment in the upcoming Republican administration.
Even a recess appointment ala John Bolton to be our head to the UN would do my heart good. Imagine that happens. Now think of the DU reaction. I dare you to tell me that doesn’t put a smile on your face! :)

I was being sarcastic. Unpucker your bomb bays. Of course, if the 'SF' means San Francisco, then you might want to keep them puckered, for safety's sake.
