from Tagg Romney: "I recently returned from a trip to North Dakota and Minnesota, my 21st and 22nd states visited on the campaign trail so far. We had a straw poll in Bismarck, ND and I was a speaker at the GOP round-up. It was a ton of fun to meet so many enthusiastic Republicans. My message could be summed up, as reported in the AP, as, 'Personally, I think the best way to beat Hillary Clinton is not to water down our values, or to try to act more like Hillary Clinton, or try to blur the distinction between Republicans and Democrats,' Romney said. 'I think we need a strong Republican.'
Rudy's representative, Kevin Cramer, spoke after I did, and said the following, also reported by the AP, "We are here to choose a candidate who can win next November. It does us no good to stand on our beautiful, wonderful principles, and lose to Hillary Clinton."
All of the candidates competing vs. Rudy should be shouting this one from the mountaintops - what a telling glimpse!
If you vote for a Rudy Toot you get a Rudy Toot.
Your link is to the Romney campaign (the five sons blog), it isn’t to the North Dakota blog.
Romney is right-on here: Though I disagree w/him on much else..
NOT only that BUT Rudy isn’t the only one that BEAT Hillary Queen Clinton! He makes it less so, in reality!!..
“North Dakota blog” is the original title of that blog posting, and we’re supposed to use original article titles here, so what else should the original poster have titled this thread?
It’s be nice to have a link to that AP-reported quote by this Cramer guy. I Googled and couldn’t find it. If true—and if it can be verified—what an incredibly obtuse thing to say.
“North Dakota blog is the original title of that blog posting, and were supposed to use original article titles here, so what else should the original poster have titled this thread?”
The posted link has now been corrected to read “The Five Brothers Blog”.
At first it had been posted using the link as labeled the “North Dakota Blog”
