Mark Levin’s posting of Schumer’s own comments from 2004 concerning the use of torture sealed the deal.

Pretend to support conservative values because the next election is near Democrat. She's not up for reelection until 2012.

After the White House nominated Mukasey, one of the Jewish pubs I get put out an article about their great pride in Mukasey who, I think, might be the first Jewish AG when confirmed. He'll be the second. We also had one during the Ford administration.

Why is she supporting him? Shes an ultra liberal leftist representing the most liberal leftist city. Is Muskasey an ultra liberal whos wearing sheeps cloting? I think there are two reasons. Obviously, the RATS fear a recess appointment. If they reject Mukasey, Bush could recess-appoint a Judge Bork type and that would really fry them.
Two, both DiFi and Mukasey are Jewish. I doubt she and Schumer will be the only Jewish RATS to vote yea.
No way is Mukasey liberal. He is quite conservative.

She's not up for reelection until 2012. Have my doubts she will run again. I think she'll be at least 80 by then.

Does Feinstein have some premonition that the Election may not be quite the shoo-in for Democrats that MSM would have us believe? Is she laying the groundwork for possibly being able to get along a bit with the Republicans after next November?
