Good! I get free healthcare then.

Hope you enjoy waiting 18 months to have your gallbladder removed...or waiting 6 months to see a cancer specialist...or pulling your own teeth with a pair of pliers like they do in the UK.

And I also hope you like seeing 20 million illegals being given a free ticket to citizenship.

And it doesn’t matter if you blame it on the Religious Right or on Gun Nuts or Homophobes or on anyone else. It is a fact of life and excusing a loss because it is the “fault” of those damned Christians or Gun-nuts or whatever does not change things. Giuliani is a LOSS for the Republican Party, nominally and substantially, whether he wins or loses the election and he must lose it. He is the only actually unelectable Republican candidate and the only thing that can guarantee a win by Mrs. Clinton. Giuliani is a stalking horse for Hillary Clinton.

Well, I don’t think the writer’s intentions are good, but he’s perfectly right that nominating Rudy would split the party.

But for that very reason, if no other, that contradicts his other assumption, that Rudy is the best candidate to defeat hillary. Nonsense. He would split the party and hillary would win in a walk.

That seems simple enough to understand. There are many, many conservative voters who will NEVER vote for Rudy for president. Including myself. And very few Democrat voters who would vote for Rudy, who is widely hated by liberals as well as rightly rejected by conservatives.

So, the answer is simple. Nominate a better candidate, one who has a chance of winning. Rudy doesn’t.

Sorry bub but I don't vote for pro-abortionists who happen to enjoy cross-dressing and support militant homosexual rights.

I don't support lisping, authoritarian big-city liberal Mayors who profited off of 9/11.

There's no way in Hell I'm supporting Rudy if he's nominated, and millions of other conservatives catch my drift too. In addition to getting creamed by Hillary, dozens of other Republicans in Congressional, state, and local races would lose too.

A 3rd party candidate will emerge if Rudy's nominated, that is an undeniable FACT because that means the GOP has flipped the bird to conservatives & completely thrown everything it has believed in since 1856 out the window just for the political chance of "winning" and keeping their sorry asses in power.

Rudy's nominated = 3rd party!

Here's Rudy's idea of "border security."

DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY MAP----TERRORIST ENTRY POINTS

MAP OF TEXAS-CANADA-MEXICO TRADE CORRIDOR BROKERED BY Bracewell & Giuliani

CONSTRUCTON OF TRADE ROAD IN MEXICO

Bracewell & Giuliani Firm Advises Cintra in First Privatization of Toll Road in Texas DALLAS (March 1, 2007) Bracewell & Giuliani LLP (Texas-based law firm with global connections) advised Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., a Spanish transportation company, in its successful bid to develop State Highway 121 into a toll road through Collin and Denton counties ("trade road" is four football fields wide). The award to Cintra, approved by the Texas Transportation Commission, is the first privatization of a Texas toll road. Bracewell is acting as project counsel to Cintra with respect to the 50-year concession from the Texas Department of Transportation. Cintra will pay a $2.1 billion upfront and annual lease payments totaling $700 million. "Cintra was awarded this project because of its proven expertise and competitive proposal," said Thomas O. Moore, partner with Bracewell & Giuliani. "This is the largest transportation deal of 2007. This is one of only five deals in the country." http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1803916/posts

Guillani would not appoint conservative judges. Or rather he would, but his second choices, who would get confirmed, would be “moderates.”

The third - and the most likely - is that Ron Paul will run on the Libertarian ticket. This should help Republicans

In a two-candidate race, the Republican wins, especially if the Republican is named Giuliani. In a multiple candidate race, Mrs. Clinton wins

Ummm what?

He is completely unelectable. The important thing about Rudy is his impact on the lesser races. Conservatives are not going to get mobilized by Rudy, so why should they support the other Republican candidates in their district or state? A Rudy nomination is a railroad spike into the GOP and their donations will decrease to that of the Constitution and Libertarian Party levels.

It’s starting to appear that even a monkey could talk Hillary into a box.

I am convinced the only reason Bill beat Bush in 92 was because of Perot. It appears the only way Hillary can win is to get a third party candidate to the right of her. This would guarantee Hillary would become president. Under any circumstances Hillary would be worse than Rudy. I would not be surprised to see people like Soros pour money into a third party conservative candidate. Hillary must not become president. Ever.

The best thing we can do is to defeat Rudy in the primary.

I'm hoping for a Romney/Thompson ticket. Rudy is vulnerable re: his past personal life and the Klinton sleaze machine will pull out all the stops to dig up the dirt. Unless there is something that hasn't surfaced yet about Romney, I don't think there are any skeletons in his closet that can be used against him.

Yes, you ahead and (attempt) that. And if you succeed, your dog will as much chance of beating clinton than any other republic currently posturing.

"Who is blind like me people?" alert.

you’ll just have to deal with the typos. Maybe you can use them to prove I’m wrong.

What part of "there's little difference between the two" do you not get?

Even Giuliani himself admitted it in an honest moment.

"Most of Clinton's policies are similar to most of mine." - Rudy Giuliani

Same here. Rudy is the last one I will support this year.

Can’t stand his liberalism. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy and he is a good spokesperson on TV for national security issues. But, no way to be the nominee for GOP.
