Looks like they’re “rare”. So it would cost you about the price of 4 or 5 new Sigs. You shoulda bought the Glock...

For the price of a conversion you can buy a "Mosquito"

I’ve read that there are a lot of problems with this gun not cycling the rounds properly from the mags.

Not recommended.

Some of the conversion kits are pricey and are a little “iffy”, at best.

You’re far better off with a dedicated .22LR pistol.

Even better when you suppress it ;)

Can’t say , but I did get one for my Berretta 9mm 92F compact. Handles just the same, except for the recoil. Great for practicing without the expense of blowing off the more expensive 9mm rounds. I like it!

I have a Walther P22 with both barrels. Can count on two mis-fires per magazine (stove piping, failure to extract, failure to feed), regardless of the ammo. Sent it back to the factory and they returned it with a note that they tested it and it was just ducky.

Anyone have similar experiences, or have a P22 they like?

All in all, an unreliable POS in my experience.

I had issues with my P22 at first. Like amy semi-autos, seems it is picky about ammo. I use CCI minimags and we are both in love now.

I got the barrel with threading that will support a can, just don’t want to spend the extra $ right now to pick one up.

The ultimate ‘fashion’ accessory, don’t ya know.....

Also, clean and lube completely plus strip and clean & lightly oil the magazines.

Fun to shoot and is a proven killer of soda bottles.....

I like the pistol...just wish it was a tad more reliable. Always do a thorough cleaning and lite lube after the range.

It pains me to say it but the Mosquito could be problematic.

By lots of different brands of ammo, test until you find the diet it likes. A lot of these guns are very sensitive to ammo.

Well, with just about any pistol ya need to run 50 to 500 rounds thru it to get everythng broken in, so to speak.

If it is failure to extract, try a different grip/posture or even wear gloves to see if it makes a difference. Took me a few range sessions before I was happy & now it is my ‘primary’ 22 LR sidearm.

The problem is most likely in your wrist.

Make sure you don't allow your wrist to flex during firing.

That may clear up your problem.
