PA Elections

Today is Election Day
Judges are a big deal
I'm going to follow Pa. Lurker's advice and vote for Maureen Lally-Green for Supreme Court (she also has Pat Toomey's endorsement).
I'm really not sure who else. Jackie Shogan has the PSEA endorsement which is a big strike against her for me.
Here is the Pa. Clean Sweep recommendations. I plan to follow them on the state level although I think I will vote to retain my county judges.
For those who don't feel going the site Pa. Clean Sweep is recommending these judges not be retained in state-wdie races:
like Vote NO!!!
on retention for these judges
Thomas G Saylor Supreme Court
John L Musmanno Superior Court
Correale F Stevens Superior Court
Bonnie B Leadbetter Commonwealth Court
Bernard L McGinley Commonwealth Court
Doris A Smith-Ribner Commonwealth Court

Most people have no clue on voting for judges. I would hesitate following a gang of irate citizens on voting. I do my own homework. I voted already. Hoefully the RATS will sink. There is no hope in Philadelphia for anyone but RAT to win as mayor. I don’t know why they even bother with an election?

The Phithadelphia fraud machine knows no limit on generating votes. The dead, unborn, non-exhistant, cats and dogs all vote.
I predict any sitting judge though to be voted out.
As for next year, Rudy and she that must not be named. In November ‘08, the beast will get all of the electoral votes.

CleanSweep has morphed into a “vote out everybody” organization. That is, they have ceased to be serious.
To: linn37
I’ll be doing the same in a few hours.

Pa. Clean Sweep is the one making the recommendation.
Anyway I just got back. The only judge I voted to retain at the state level is Orie Melvin.
I voted the GOP Party ticket for everything else which means I voted for Shogan.

We had heavy turnout for a mid-term election. A lot of people told me that they only came out to vote for my husband. I have my fingers crossed, and hope he wins his Supervisor election.

"anyone from delco?"
Three of our five school board candidates have been arrested on various bribery and/or kickback charges, and all but one were unopposed.
Bleh. I left that part blank.
To: Tribune7
I voted for Lally-Green and Shogan and any other candidate that had the Rep. or combined Rep./Dem. endorsement. Voted NO on retention of all judges listed.

With 91% reporting, the only Judge to fail retention was John C. Mott in Bradford County — because of his wife!
“It’s not anything he did, it’s what his wife did 2 years ago. Mott’s wife stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Canton Borough Authority. She was working as an office manager there. She did jail time, and Mott says it shouldn’t have any affect on his campaign.”
