Revealed: Israel plans nuclear strike on Iran (dated January 7, 2007)

ISRAEL has drawn up secret plans to destroy Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities with tactical nuclear weapons.

Two Israeli air force squadrons are training to blow up an Iranian facility using low-yield nuclear “bunker-busters”, according to several Israeli military sources.

The attack would be the first with nuclear weapons since 1945, when the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Israeli weapons would each have a force equivalent to one-fifteenth of the Hiroshima bomb.

Under the plans, conventional laser-guided bombs would open “tunnels” into the targets. “Mini-nukes” would then immediately be fired into a plant at Natanz, exploding deep underground to reduce the risk of radioactive fallout.

“As soon as the green light is given, it will be one mission, one strike and the Iranian nuclear project will be demolished,” said one of the sources.

The plans, disclosed to The Sunday Times last week, have been prompted in part by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad’s assessment that Iran is on the verge of producing enough enriched uranium to make nuclear weapons within two years.

Israeli military commanders believe conventional strikes may no longer be enough to annihilate increasingly well-defended enrichment facilities. Several have been built beneath at least 70ft of concrete and rock. However, the nuclear-tipped bunker-busters would be used only if a conventional attack was ruled out and if the United States declined to intervene, senior sources said.

I have read that the CIA has done precious little to back the opposition in Iran. Whatever the reason, the Dems are ultimately to blame for decimating the agency beginning with the Church Commission way back when.

If your talking a conventional armed Iran, by itself, with Iran attacking Israel, in an all out attack, I'd say the war lasts 3 days, maybe 1 week, with Iran not faring well.

Iran fought Sadaam to a standstill for the better part of a decade.And the fact that it would be Israel they'd be fighting this time would,I'll wager,stiffen their resolve tenfold and I'll wager that they'd be far better armed than they were then.

I'm sure they are busy making signs now too.

Israel and the world knows that Iran is preparing to be packing nukes as soon as they can.

And their leader has made it clear they are to be used to destroy Israel and the USA.

Israel's survival depends upon stopping this threat. Ours too.

Jut the other nite on the History Channel there was a show about this very thing. It was quite detailed in how Israel works, without giving out any details on their planning.

To be sure what ever they are planning to protect their nation no one will know until it happens.

And it will be justified.

Well except to the Islamic States and the liberals. Not to mention democrats and Progressives.
