'EDUCATIONAL": That's how President Vladimir Putin's entourage described the Russian's recent whirlwind trip to Tehran.

Islamic Republic President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hyped the 36-hour visit as a "historic event." Some Western commentators even suggested that Putin and Ahmadinejad planned to create an axis to counter Western influence in the Middle East.

Talk about picking to play for a losing team.

I’ve warned you in the past about excerpting NY Post articles, and this time did it for you. Now look what happened. It’s the software.

with "the help of the Hidden Imam."

That's the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

The Russians and the Chinese, in general, and the Western World in particular, have to realize that they can't deal with or appease a leadership of a terrorist regime that takes its direct "orders" from a ghost!

The simple formula is: if you talk to a well, you can't have nuclear weapons, period.

What if the hidden Imam "decides" to wipe out a Russian or a Chinese city? LOL

“It was clear they lived in a world of their own.””
“”When it became clear that we were talking to the wall, there was no point in attempts at creative diplomacy,” says the Russian source.”

Been trying to tell everyone that for years.
Maybe it’s finally sinking in. Are you listening State Dept?

I keep getting told Putin’s alliances are strictly business. Yet old JFKerry let the cat out of the bag this is reenactment of Vietnam and everybody knows who won that war.

I only hope that after this meeting with Iranian leaders that President Vladimir Putin comes to the realization that Iran is deadly serious when it says death to America and Death to Israel. If so the leader will come to the same conclusion as the west and allow stronger sanctions in hopes of heading off a military attack.

If Putin thinks that a nuclear exchange with ground-zero Iran will not "affect" Russia, he's as even more ignorant than the illiterate Iran leadership.

I remember watching a show in the late 1970’s about Nostradamus and how NYC gets nuked and Iran becomes a ME superstate and turns on Russia. I am thinking it was Late Great Planet Earth but can’t quite remember...

“If Putin thinks that a nuclear exchange with ground-zero Iran will not “affect” Russia, he’s as even more ignorant than the illiterate Iran leadership.”

Or it could be that is exactly what Putin wants. A nuclear exchange in the ME would instantly cause a global depression. The West’s strength comes from financial dominance. It takes money to wage war and for R&D of advanced weaponry. Right now our military advantage is miles ahead of the Russians. Russia has it’s own energy supply.

If the West was knocked down a peg or two while recovering from a global depression from a ME conflict, Russia could make a move on Europe. I never thought it was wise to push Democracy so fast on Russia’s borders. At least not with a KGB agent running the country. Countries serve their own interests. While Russia was extremely weak we furthered our agenda. Russia appears to be using Iran to weaken the West’s position and further their agenda of a revived superpower ‘motherland’. President Bush was correct in saying that an Iran with nukes could easily turn from a ME nuclear conflict to a global one. Putin obviously does not get it or foolishly believes such a ME conflict could be contained. I guess he hasn’t studied 50 years of Presidential policy that the USA is willing to wage all out war to protect our energy supply and way of life.

To me, becoming energy independant is the solution to unlimited economic growth and eventual true prosperity to the rest of the globe. Too bad their is so much selfishness and greed from our leadership right now. It seems we are all but guaranteeing the war of Gog & Magog and the final WWIII conflict as spoken of in the book of Revelations.

Only we can allow this prophecy to come true! We can't allow the money/power hungry Russia and China to fool around our security. They wouldn't like anything better than seeing us quite hurt.

France came around already but the rest of the West is waffling and still leaning towards their Euros. Euros that will be spent one day on raising their capitals from the ashes.

I don't know what are we waiting for, except the fear of liberals who keep putting sticks in our wheels and warning Iran of what's coming.

Somehow, I still believe that President Bush will not leave this job to a successor, no matter who that might be.

Putin was head of the old KGB. He’s probably atheist or at least agnostic. This trip to Iran may have been “educational” in that he may now realize that those Iranian mullahs must NOT get nuclear weapons at all costs!............
