Move America Forward has worked very hard to get the news media to cover positive news regarding our troops - and their missions as well.
We find local media always most willing to report on these stories since the reporters/editors are not as caught up in the beltway liberalism that dominates reports out of Washington D.C., New York centered networks.
This is one of the reasons MAF engages in so many national tours - to touch local media markets and get good reports on our troops station-by-station.
Yesterday the ABC, NBC, CBS, CW affiliates came out to cover a story on holiday care packages for our troops. So too did KFBK the Sacramento radio powerhouse that launched Rush Limbaugh.
Media does nice reports on pro-troop efforts at the holidays.
I’m not going to be grateful to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN etc. for an occasional positive alibi report on our troops. BTW this report is on packages given to our troops. When will they start to report positively on the work and mission our troops are doing each and every day!?
The MSM are repsonsible for prolonging this war and demoralizing America while shilling for the left and the terrorists. Too much harm was done.
Nice coverage, and the KFBK site has the reminder of MAF’s event at noon, 11/13/07, signing cards for the troops.
Thanks for the ping!
It is important to keep supporting our troops because it is not far from the surface that lurks the anti-military attitudes of the Viet-Nam era, when our mllitary came back to hateful crowds. The left would like nothing better than to see the American people turn against the troops. That is why the pro-troop movement is so vital in keeping that from ever happening again.
I’m glad to give credit where credit is due. Positive Iraq coverage? I give those reporting it credit for telling the truth.
