I have regarded “Buckwheat” as a male reference and see this as a terrible wrong that has been done.

When you read the story, it doesn’t make much sense why she said that. It is like they left something out.

While stationed in Japan, there was a Major in our squadron whose favorite departing comment was “Sayonara, Buckwheat!”

We all thought it was funny as hell.

Any time I see a friend or co-worker with mussed up hair, I always ask them, “Did ya just get out of bed, Buckwheat?” Guess I better not run for public office.

"... hmmmm? Say what? It was a DEMOCRAT that did that...?"

"Ummmmmmmmm... never mind, then. Forget I even said anything."

I’m so sick of this crap that it makes me want to become a racist, just so something these loathsome cretins say will be true once in a while.

That said, Thomas Sowell for President!

“My favorite pancakes are buckwheat.”

“What kind did you say?”

“Buckwheat.”

“Eh? Speak up, dear!”

“Buckwheat! Buckwheat!”

“RACIST”
