Good morning and may God bless every veteran who has served honorably this morning.
So let’s see what we have this morning.
On FNS, we have Bill Richardson— formerly a relatively hawkish Democrat who declared the border an emergency in 2005; now as a Democrat candidate he is pandering to illegal aliens and those of his fellow Hispanics who are sympathetic. Such a flip-flop would make John Kerry blush. My best guess is that he’s angling for Hillary’s VP, which he could well get. And then we have McCain... again. No need for an explanation, he’s a regular.
MTP is giving a full hour to Barack Obama; it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he gets the enemy treatment or rock star status. The MSM is divided over Obama, and although Russert is probably a Hillary supporter, don’t be surprised if the “higher-ups” say to take it easy.
FTN has one Republican (more like a Southern Democrat) candidate in Huckabee, who’s making a lot of appearances on these shows as of late (I guess it’s cheap advertising, considering his campaign is low on funds). In addition they have another Republican candidate (more like Libertarian/Constitutionalist/Truther and white nationalist sympathizer) in Ron Paul. Basically two half-Republicans makes one whole to them, plus it gets people like Hillary-launched Media Matters to say “CBS has a conservative bias! See! They had two Republicans on there!” Since I pretty much have FTN posting duties on this site, I get to suffer through that raving lunatic. I mean, the gold standard... come on people!
TW has Condoleezza Rice, who almost never gets a good treatment here. Be sure they WON’T acknowledge the fact that there have been at least two reports this past week where there has been no violent deaths in Iraq. And then we have Chris Dodd. He’s so insignificant it doesn’t really matter anyway.
Ratings coming up.
I mean, it's almost as if he's a regular poster here, what with him being on almost every Sunday for the past ten years!
NBC MEET THE PRESS....3,337,000 (-211,000) CBS FACE THE NATION...2,247,000 (- 15,000) ABC THIS WEEK.........2,181,000 (- 26,000) FOX NEWS SUNDAY.......2,001,000 (+310,000)Once again, as we can see, Fox News Sunday is the big winner from two weeks ago, gaining 310,000 viewers (nearly 20%, making it over 21% over the past 2 weeks). The big loser was Meet the Press, who for the second straight week lost over 200,000 viewers and is down over 13% (over half a million viewers) over the past few weeks. FTN and TW both suffer small losses like they seem to do every week. And now for the preliminary ratings from last week's prime time replays.
FOX NEWS SUNDAY.........803,000 (+ 55,000) NBC MEET THE PRESS......298,000 (+ 70,000)It will be interesting to see if last week's bounce for MTP on MSNBC will translate into a halt to the hemmorhage of viewers it's suffered.
From the few minutes I watched, it seemed that Tim is trying to be ‘working my way back to you’ to Hillary.
He is really being hard on Barack, which isn’t that hard, since the guy is totally clueless.
His answer on social security was frighteningly pathetic.
“I would listen to all ideas...”
How about thinking yourself, Obama? Oh, that’s right, you don’t do that.
In order to get Federal Money which he mostly spent on slush fund Democrat special intrests rather then actually doing much of anything about the border. Richardson is a Clintonite and every bit as corrupt as any of the other members of the Clinton crime family.
