Father, I lift up President Bush today. Shield him from any influences which would draw him away from You. Insofar as he has stayed, bring him back. Give him wisdom to govern and courage to do right. And make the last year of his administration one in which Your name is praised and honored.
Go with us the rest of today. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
For it is in the blessed name of Christ Jesus my Lord that I pray these things. Amen.

I watched President Bush give a speech earlier today to a Veterans Day ceremony in Waco, Tx.
He did a fine job, and at the end of the speech he started to mist up. This man surely loves and appreciates our Veterans.

Accept the gratitude of our hearts for those who would lay down their lives for us---for all those presently in service to this great country as well as all who have gone before them. May they know the appreciation of a grateful nation and may they receive great rewards from You as well. Thank You, Lord, for it is the nature of Your love that enables them to do what they do to defend our freedoms. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
May God continue to bless our visionary President and the courageous troops he leads!
