"I think it's sinking in to the electorate that people who had pledges to not attack Democrats were abandoning those pledges," Penn said.

"They were supposed to let hillary win..."

I recall reading that Hillary doesn’t do talk/interview shows like BOR unless she knows the questions that will be asked in advance. She’s a coward and afraid to have anyone ask her the hard or uncomfortable questions. She can’t think “off the cuff”.

This picture says more than a thousand words.

Some of them are comedic:

In an ironic turn-around, Obama says, "I'll get you my little pretty!"

Obama knows she's got hillary because hillary points; but won't look her in the eye--a sure sign of fear. And obama knows it!

On a more cruious side:

Although hillary is a candidate, she is shown with a WIFE instead of with the other candidates. I think this grouping of the sexes is something that only a very strong woman would be able to overcome. Margaret Thatcher was able to overcome it; but it looks like hillary isn't.

Her beloved hubby must feel the same way.

Recall how ol’ bubba almost blew a pipe when questioned beyond the script?

The pics are very telling indeed. I posted them thinking some talented FReepers would come up with good captions. The body lingo speaks volumes. You’re right about “girl talk”...somehow I doubt Mrs. Clinton is sharing her pot roast recipe with Mrs. Obama.

Ms. Obama KNOWS that she’s got hillary trapped. Even her proximity to hillary is invasive. Add that to her height and her bending above her, and you have a speaker trapped.

The true believing fellow travelers consider Hillary too moderate. Check out DU sometime if you have the stomach for it. It’s an eye-opener. Up ‘til now, the vast majority of her support was based on the calculation that she had the best chance to win the general election. But Dems are beginning to rethink that calculation as they realize she’s a lousy campaigner and a good Pubbie candidate will make mincemeat of her.

I still think she’s the current favorite to win the nomination, but it’s not the slam dunk it once was by any means. A few more screwups and the Dems will throw her overboard.

“a few more screwups and the dems will throw her overboard...”

cant’ argue with your reasoning, but there is something metaphysical about the clintons. it’s really not about hillary! but about bill. he has a magic lock upon the voting fingers of the electorate. they love him and would probably elect them (hill and bill) in a landslide. hillary is the phantom candidate that will give bill a third term in office, probably a fourth.

heil hillary! (arm extended, palm down, wait until she passes and don’t look into her eyes.)

I disagree. Hill and Bill are human beings like everyone else. Remember that Bill never won a majority of the vote in either election. Yes, he managed to stay in office eight years, when in a perfect world he shouldn’t have lasted eight days, but I think the “unstoppable Clinton juggernaut” meme has been MSM fiction all along.

From the Dems’ current point of view, Bush has managed to stay in office through numerous “scandals” in their mind. And Reagan was called the teflon President because he survived numerous “scandals” as the Dems saw it. The fact is that Americans are very, very reluctant to impeach and throw out their Presidents, regardless of the circumstances. That Bill and Hill benefited from that fact doesn’t make them unstoppable uber politicians by any means.

That Bill survived his term in office should not be interpreted to mean that he and Hillary are invulnerable. And the fact remains that although a lot of Dems pine for the glory days of Bill, Hillary is not Bill and that’s becoming ever more apparent.

"I've turned a little more negative on her because of the immigration issue," said Terry Edwards.

"She's vulnerable, definitely," said Paul Willis of Thornton, Iowa, who said Clinton has what it takes to win, but could also implode.

"I think it is hurting her, although for me, it's made me feel a little better toward her," said Roy McCoy, of Riverside, Iowa. "I don't like bullying."<

Three men.

Three idiots.

I read somewhere that La Clinton is 5'6" tall. If that's true,Mrs. Obama must be a good 5'10".

once again, lovely reasoning that’s a salve on the open sore of the affliction that’s the democrat party.

one has to remember the effectiveness of the communist style of rhetoric by the msm and the democrat party. they are going to gain power by promising and working for everything that the electorate wants. once they gain power the whole ball of wax could tank but they would still hold power and blame the u.s. constitution and the prior republicans for any ills; their objective is power and they have been successful in influencing more than 50% of the population and turning them into hard-core socialists.

hillary! is a definite; she will be the next president after president bush. the internationalists have held the schools, the democrat party, and have made serious inroads into the culture and all they need is that ever-growing-more-than-50% to be successful.

heil hillary! (listen to her next speech that will probably be a good imitation of a tyrant from the last century)

It reminds me of when some crazy person approaches you and you listen just to be kind...she's looking down at her like, "oh, you poor dear..."

That's where I found the story about Questiongate as it was breaking Friday night...

"Oh sweet irony! Clinton busted planting questioners at campaign event"

roflmbo

Some of them are blaming Rove and “Poppy Bush” and their relationship to the Clintons and some of them are still whining about Kerry’s loss. I especially liked this one. A call for reason and context on DU. Not in the vocabulary of most dems I know.

From DU...on the Oh Sweet Irony thread

First, they shouldn’t do this type of thing.
Clinton should pledge to avoid such future practices.

Second, this is not anything remotely like the coddled and ultra-planned Rove machine. This student still could have asked her a different question, for starters. Republicans were not banned from the event. Etc... etc.. etc...

Can we please discuss things in a tone of reasonableness and context at DU?
