Thanks for the post. And thanks for posting the transcript in it's entirety, complete with the stuttering pauses, which to shows that Fred has a great mind capable of reasoning while he speaks. I particularly was moved at his experience, later in his life, that brought him to the rock hard conclusion that "life begins at conception"!

Fred Dalton Thompson is, without a doubt, the most honest man person we have had run for the highest office in the land for a long, long, long time.

America needs this type of leadership. Although I quite frankly am not sure America, at large, either realizes it or is capable of handling it.

We will see.

I was going to read further for the response from the one who took Fred's remarks out of context with an incomplete quote, but think I will just let it go.

I also like to see discussion without mudslinging. Hopefully we are all trying to find out the truth about each candidate. I still hope for a Thompson/Hunter ticket!
