The body of Edward Burns, 36, - who was shot in the head - was found near Falls Road and the beaten body of Joe Jones, 38, was discovered in Ardoyne. Irish police said that three men and a woman had been arrested by detectives in Dublin and Dundalk on Sunday. IRA 'may have barn murder role'
BBC
Monday, November 12, 2007
Current and former members of the IRA may have been involved in the murder of south Armagh man Paul Quinn last month, the ceasefire watchdog has said. Mr Quinn, 21, died after being severely beaten at farm buildings near Oram, County Monaghan, last month. The Independent Monitoring Commission said it stemmed from a local dispute but it was too early to say if it was authorised by the IRA leadership. UUP peer Lord Laird is to name the men he believes killed Mr Quinn. He will use parliamentary privilege to name the men in the House of Lords. Mr Quinn's family said the IRA killed the 21-year-old after he had defied an order to leave the country. Sinn Fein denies any republican involvement. "The IRA Army Council did not sanction the killing, but IRA members did kill Paul," said Lord Laird at the weekend. "I will name names and lay-out all the information I have. We cannot allow this to be brushed under the carpet like Robert McCartney, the Northern Bank and Denis Donaldson. "I am not just getting at Sinn Fein, but the security services, the government, the lot. I am deeply concerned at what appears to be a lack of progress by the security services on both sides of the border."

They got too good a rebuilding the knees.

After that they moved onto elbows.

When I lived there (until ‘02) the Padre Pio was the “in” thing to do.

The paramilitaries are never going to give up their drugs/prostitution rings. Looks like this guy must have crossed someone pretty high up the chain.
