Democrats can't find some way to embrace the principle of the rule of law, then they've got a problem.
It's not a matter of "can't find a way" but more accurately not wanting to embrace the rull of law.
Most Americans want some form of reform
We don't need reformation of immigration laws. We need the existing immigration laws strictly enforced by those who have the authority. The only reform needed is the attitude of politicians who have blocked effective enforcement. The people will have to drag politicians kicking and screaming to the realization of strong enforcement by keeping the pressure on politicians. The adage politicians don't lead, they follow certainly applies to immigration laws.

The dems are in a dilemma because they are their own worst enemies. Spitzer in NY personifies a party so out of touch with the country and with reality. If numskulls like this want to play hardball then that's what they'll get:
Spitzer on Licenses
Despite some news stories to the contrary, Eliot Spitzer, speaking earlier today at a New York City Veterans Day event stressed that hes not about to toss his drivers license plan overboard, although he also stressed several times, that hes listening to other points of view.
I dont think I said there is going to be a change or a delay. This is a tough issue,' Spitzer said during a Q&A session. Part of my job is to explain it to the public.'
Part of leadership is taking tough positions because you are doing what you believe is correct,' he added. Part of leadership is to listen.'
Its complicated but we believe its right.'
How's that for arrogance, a typical elitist democrat. I'll listen to what you have to say but then I'll ram it down your throat anyway.
Can't wait to see how this one gets past the lawsuits, the NYS Senate and public opinion.

Did anyone see Neil Cavuto today? Well.... he had on the guy from Boston talking about our Primadonnas in Congress. If you were half awake this interview would have surely awakened you. He was talking about Senators who voted against making English the official language of America. I went to his web site and his language is not for the faint-hearted! He is vulgar and crude, however, I agree completely with him. Do I dare put the link and risk being banned!
Warning! Do not click on the link if you will be offended by bad language. I'm not fooling ya!

That guy is saying out loud what a lot of us think to ourselves.

You are right, but wow, the language!
To: notaliberal
Yup it’s definitely not ready for prime time. :)

I thought Michael Savage was strong!!! Apparently, from what Cavuto says, this guy had over a million views on Youtube!
To: notaliberal

Apparently, from what Cavuto says, this guy had over a million views on Youtube! And except for the illegal aliens screaming racist I'll bet everyone was cheering him on.

In fact, a recent survey by Democratic pollster Stan Greenberg shows that the top issue underlying the discontent of independents is "unprotected" borders. For these voters, the matter of illegal immigration is a question of breaking laws and not a stalking horse for something elselike racism. The public is practical and wants tougher enforcement. And if the Democrats can't find some way to embrace the principle of the rule of law, then they've got a problem. "We need to have a strategy beyond saying the Republicans are awful," says one top Democratic strategist. "And we don't."But our own lib says that this is bogus, isn't that correct dane.

Americans are opposed to amnesty. Its amazing the clueless MSM and the Democrats keep missing where public opinion is on the immigration issue.
