Remember when Clinton trotted out Donna Shalala and Madeleine Albright?

"Clinton did meet this morning with his Cabinet and afterward, his appointees voiced their support. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said, "I believe the allegations are completely untrue." Commerce Secretary William Daley added "I'll second that. Definitely." "Third it," said Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala."

Better question... which “feminists” DIDN’T support the former rapist-in-chief ?

Susan Estrich defended him. I believe Gloria Allred came out in his defense. And who was it that gave the lame excuse that he was okay because "in general" he was pro-feminism, even if he did commit the occasional faux pas? Was that Gloria Steinem?

That whole incident was a study in utter hypocrisy, and pointed out what a sham post-modern "feminism" has become.

I seem to remember one woman who proclaimed that she herself would like to perform a “Lewinski” on Ol’ Bubba, since he had done so much to support abortion. Just can’t seem to remember who it was, though,

It was Patricia Ireland who said of Ted “Swimmer” Kennedy during the 1991 Palm Beach rape scandal,

“The only place where Senator Kennedy’s behavior matters is on the floor of the U.S. Senate!”

Feminists are evil, soulless hypocrites with a rage to rule over the rest of us. Kind of like Hillary.

Not sure if they’re feminists but those screaming the loudest included: Susan MacDougal, Susan Estrich, Sheila Jackson Lee, Geraldo Rivera and his panel of apologists, Maxine Waters, Barbara Streisand, Susan Thomason, Elizabeth Holtzman, Susan Sarandon, Barbara Boxer, Ann Lewis. The kicker was Pat Ireland President of NOW and other feminists who said because the Clinton/Lewinsky relationship was consensual, it was not sexual harassment.

I don't know if it was outright support in the literal sense...but Perky Katy Couric had a very comfy interview with Hillary about the matter. Of course, she never defended Bill, but she swallowed Hillary's cover-up lies and accusations of "the vast right-wing conspiracy" theory hook, line and sinker. And she never interviewed anyone who could have/would have confirmed the scandal.

Anyhow, during Katy's interview I recall Hillary saying that as in all marriages, theirs is not perfect, but there was no incident as reported. Then...then...she had the audacity to announce that she and Bill were so happy as parents, that they had decided to adopt another child! Katy popped up at that, and asked, "Really, you are going to adopt, how wonderful!" And Hillary made a few more comments about how they had been thinking about it for a long time, how many parentless children there are, it was the right thing to do, etc. I will never forget that comment and conversation.

So, Hillary...where's this new child? I think you have even thrown out Socks, the cat!

Just shows how Hillary will say anything, anytime, to anyone, even a public announcement about adopting a child if she thinks it will gain her (and Bill) the adoration they narcissistly seek - and drum out the negative truths. Of course her comment was never challenged anywhere, when the adoption never took place. No one ever mentioned it one time.

Didn’t Gloria Allred ask for her contribution check back? Somebody did become outraged at this behavior, but I am not sure who.

Don’t forget the lib witch Nina Totenberg (?) on NPR that said she’d give krinton a kneepad job if he kept abortion legal.

One problem with your quest is that the feminazis remained silent during krinton’s exposure. That was a political decision with a two-fold purpose. First, they gave him a de facto pass by silent (and tacit) response. Secondly, they left no documentation to use against him (and by extention, themselves) should times change and historians look for evidence like that you seek.

Yes I vaguely remember reading something about their adopting but not sure if it was said during the Monica Lewinsky interview.

Wasn't it Matt Lauer (not Couric) who conducted the interview? I recall her defiantly promising to fight the charges not only because she believed in and LOVED her husband but also for the sake (ahem) of the country. It was then she coined the phrase the vast right wing conspiracy who was responsible.

As for Couric, Hillary has always been her favorite and I recall Katie jumping off her chair when she won the NY Senate seat.

Yep, she initially talked with Matt when the story was hot. But shortly after (maybe it was after the “trial”)she was on with Katy, (maybe for some other topic, I can’t remember) and the subject came up and she used the same phrase “vast right-winged conspiracy.” Then she went right into the adoption statement. I know it never got much publicity, because at the time, Hillary was riding high and no one in the media then challenged much of anything she said. I have waited for the day that someone brings up that lie. To think of using adoption as a tactic to win approval, is just so “slick willy” type strategy. Makes me sick!

I remember that one prominent “journalist” named Nina Burleigh said she wanted to give Bill Clinton a “Lewinsky” because he protected the right of a woman to kill her baby after giving birth to all of the baby except for the top of its head (aka “partial birth abortion”). Presumably, Nina was ready to give a “Lewinsky” to nearly every male Democrat Senator and Representative as well. Sheesh, what a pig.

...and still he's revered.

He makes me want to vomit. I haven't been on this side of "left leaning" for long, I can remember actually liking Slick in the mid 90s.

I'm farther to this side than most of my lifelong (R) friends now. I'm embarrassed that I ever did anything but dispise that man.
