Authorities are investigating two federal immigration detention center employees arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle 28 illegal immigrants through a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in South Texas.
The two workers arrested are employees of Centerville, Utah-based Management Training Corp., which runs the Willacy County Detention Center for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The workers were arrested around midnight Thursday while they tried to take the immigrants through the Sarita checkpoint, located about 100 miles north of Brownsville, officials said.
It was not known late Monday if charges had been filed against the workers. Officials with the U.S. Attorney's Office, ICE and Management Training Corp. did not immediately return telephone calls seeking comment.
The two employees work at a 2,000-bed detention center about an hour north of the border in Willacy County. The detention center consists of 10 tent-like structures that house immigrants.

Throw the book at them!
What, ICE isn’t sending them enough illegals, so they have to go to Mexico, and bring some in themselves?
Was it some kind of ‘job security’ action, because of a percieved severe reduction of inmates, thanks to the “increased employment enforcement & deportation” during a run-up to elections?
First it was the national guard now ice, the who organization stinks. It is rotting from the head down.
Were the two federal immigration detention center employees illegal aliens?

Yep, I can blame em : )
Hey, I’m glad I’m not 40 years younger, broke, living on the border and fluent in Spanish. I might just dye my hair black and become a coyote.
