Sofadude, you are a SWEETHEART for asking. I have been irrigating and changing the packing in his wound every evening. He saw the doc yesterday. (A very nice doc, retired Major....he’s the one who showed me how to pack an open wound).
At this point, the doc says we can start letting the wound close on Friday. WOOWHOO! So I have 2 more nights of irrigating and packing Walt’s wound, then it’s just a simple dressing.

I know people who have been here for 30 years from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, South America and other countries who haven’t once attempted to get papers... that’s just stupid. But why not, if they can get everything without it. Let me tell you... and they demand mono classes for their kids, not English... because they speak Spanish at home... while they’re speaking perfect English telling you this.
It shows their sympathies are not with this country.
