Because Embryonic Stems Cells are only a political tool to pretend a benefit from abortion, it isn’t necessary to have medical knowledge to be on the board.
If there were any medical potential from ESC’s, there would be no need for Gov’t funding.
Adult Stem Cell research has no need of Gov’t funding and it has scientifically proven application and medical benefit.
