I'm starting to worry about your sanity. Granted, the Argentineans were using D-list troops, but they were excellently sited with weeks to prepare. And their airforce was superb - it was like fighting the IAF, but without the arab military innovation of using human shields.
Meanwhile the British were fighting over an 8000 mile supply line in the coldest livable part of the South Atlantic. The word you're looking for isn't 'pathetic crawl', it's 'tour-de-force'. An amazing feat of arms.
You’re talking to a man who thinks that the UK has lost so many wars that its ‘hard to count’ mate. Be afraid, be very afraid :-) Reality is irrelevant to this guy.
Yeah right.
No. I think pathetic crawl sums it up about right.

If there is any weakening of British military skill and resolve, the same can be found in any Western nation - including America. But by necessity, and in the face of radical Islam, the future will see a more determined and united West, despite insignificant morons posting on this forum.
The US, in which I can take pride in later in the war, dithered with isolationism and surreptitious support.
Alone and unaided in arms, Great Britain and the Commonwealth kept Hitler from consolidating a continental victory that would have served as something the US would never have unseated.
Churchill felt saved the morning the news hit him of the Pearl Harbor attack on the US. But many nations and many people were saved by the invincible valor of the United Kingdom standing alone against the biggest war machine of all time.
That is what sensible people know of your nation.
