"Diamond v. Pearl" Student Blasts CNN (Updated With CNN Response)FAKE QUESTIONS AGAIN!!!

Maria Luisa, the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred "diamonds or pearls" at last night's debate wrote on her MySpace page this morning that CNN forced her to ask the frilly question instead of a pre-approved query about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository. "Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN," Luisa writes. "I was asked to submit questions including "lighthearted/fun" questions. I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me. I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. For sure, I thought I would get to ask the Yucca question that was APPROVED by CNN days in advance." Now, Luisa is getting "swamped" with critical e-mails. So what happened? Writes Luisa: "CNN ran out of time and used me to "close" the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, "you gave our school a bad reputation.' Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That's what the media does. See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That's politics; that's reality. So, if you want to read about real issues important to America--and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question."

Maria Luisa, the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred “diamonds or pearls” at last night’s debate wrote on her MySpace page this morning that CNN
forced her to ask the frilly question instead of a pre-approved query about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository.

“Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN,” Luisa writes. “I was asked to submit questions including “lighthearted/fun” questions. I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me.

I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. For sure, I thought I would get to ask the Yucca question that was APPROVED by CNN days in advance.”

Now, Luisa is getting “swamped” with critical e-mails. So what happened? Writes Luisa: “CNN ran out of time and used me to “close” the debate with the pearls/diamonds question.

Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, “you gave our school a bad reputation.’ Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That’s what the media does.

See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That’s politics; that’s reality.

So, if you want to read about real issues important to America—and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question.”

This is NOT TRUE.

Hillary said they do NOT plant questions. Obviously this woman is a drug-using whore who did not serve in Vietnam.

Yeah, and Obama thanked the CASINO CAGE TELLER for all the work she had done on behalf of the Culinary Workers. Now, how did he know that she was a kitchen worker, let alone a union officer if he didn’t have the information ahead of time? Also, the woman couldn’t remember what she was supposed to ask and Malveaux prompted her.

Also the one woman asked the question about the supreme court judges and Malveaux corrected the question to be about abortion.

Maria, the debate was live. You could have asked any question you chose and CNN could have done nothing about it.

I would agree to ask any question they wanted to hear, and then I’d ask the one I wanted to ask.

Why do people think they have to do what they’re told by a candidate wonk? Did any of the others prepare audience questions, like Edwards, Dodd, Richardson, Obama, Plugs, anyone else have their advance folks priming the audience question pump? Or was it just Her Heinous?

Sheesh. That woman is so lame. I hope she brings it all down on her head.

Busted but ignored again by the media. Didn’t you see the SNL skit with Brian Williams setting up the podium order for the previous debate? He announced that Hillary! would, of course, be at the middle podium because “we all want her to win”. Edwards really stepped in it last night but he was right on when he declared “this is rigged and corrupt”. Is there any national news media outlet that will hold Hillary! to account for all her misdeeds???

Why do people think they have to do what they’re told by a candidate wonk?

Because, as Democrats, they aren't accustomed to thinking outside of what they are programmed. Secondly, this is their 15 minutes of fame and if they ever want another 15 minutes they know they have to obey their media masters.

Look at this Iowa waitress who went off script and told the truth on Hillary. Don't you know they are making her life a living hell now?

Maria, grow a set. When the mic is hot and in your hand, YOU decide what question to ask.

The really sadly ironic thing is, “they” were right, Hillary is not able to do it on her own, she needs a set piece debate, with rigged questions, compliant moderators, and weak competition on stage, and even then, and make no mistake about this, that young woman’s question was a take off on Bill’s MTV question “Boxers or Briefs”?

I.E. For all she went through with Bill did she end up with Diamonds or Pearls for her trouble..the jilted wives’s revenge as it were.
