The homo probably signed the donor card years and years ago. Homos are almost always liberals and as such do things that “feel good” without thinking about consequences.

Hospitals are bureaucracies and do things according to protocol no matter what. Unfortunately, common sense is not part of the process...especially when a protected minority and money are involved.

This could be the case. It could be that this donor really didn't think he/she was infected.
