JOINT FEDERAL INVESTIGATION NETS DOZENS OF ARRESTS ON SALE AND USE OF FRAUDULENT IDENTITY DOCUMENTS

Colm F. Connolly, United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement , and the United States Postal Inspection Service today announced the initial arrests resulting from a year-long investigation into the illegal sale and use of valid Puerto Rican birth certificates and Social Security cards in Delaware.

The joint investigation targeted several vendors/brokers who transported various identity documents from Puerto Rico to the lower Delaware Hispanic community. According to indictments returned by a federal Grand Jury last week, these documents were ultimately used to satisfy documentary requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act as it relates to employment. Moreover, once in receipt of these documents, individuals could fraudulently obtain all the rights and privileges of a U.S. citizen, including gaining employment, voting, purchasing firearms and obtaining valid passports to access U.S. borders.

As a result of the investigation to date, three individuals have been indicted, a fourth individual has been arrested on a criminal complaint, and another twenty-seven individuals have been arrested on administrative immigration charges.

Now if they could issue passports too, maybe they could eliminate the huge backlog of incapable government passport operation. “=)

The latest estimates of people living illegally in the United States is 20-30 million. That is one heck of a large market with a strong demand for documents. The Free market will fill the void as it always does.

“Illegally documented illegals.”

Lots of documents in Pasadena, Texas!

Police have not found the families of the dead men, who both are in their 30s. One had identification indicating he was from Puerto Rico, the other had documentation indicating he may have been from Puerto Rico, Colombia or the Dominican Republic, Capt. Corbett said.

So we still don't know who they really are, but they are documented and out from the "shadows".  The stupid RAT concept at its best!

Ten years ago, I learned that you can buy any document you want from companies in the Miami area. One of my employees, a Brazilian, was offered an excellent copy of a US passport, a green card, a Social Security card and a US birth certificate, all for a mere $1000. The illegal document business has to have grown since then. The 30 million number of ilegals is very likely.

Everybody’s documented. Some here, some elsewhere.

At the borders and airports and ports is where we need armed sworn loyal Americans in fact saying,

“Your papers, please.”

Maybe you can find a mobile Mexican consulate in your area this weekend?

consul “Chao said officials would hold a “mobile consulate” this weekend in Oklahoma City to offer identity papers(or passports)for those there.”

If Spitzer had not given up on his licenses for illegals, he could have hired some of these crooks to pass out licenses in NY, since honest DMV officials refused to do it.

Does anybody else notice that the more illegals we have, the more corrupt “our own” officials become?

Yes. We still have not caught up with Mexico, but we are getting closer.
