Rudolph Giuliani may not win New Hampshire, but he has already won the pundit primary. It’s not even close. Quite a few conservative journalists are in Giuliani’s corner. His rivals have no similar support...

Keep it up. Right up until Your girl Hillary is the CINC! I am sure I am to the right of you. I will do anything to keep out another Clinton. You sir are cruising for it. Right out of the Left wing playbook.

I am no Rudy fan, a far cry from it. But your boy Fred may drop out before it all starts if he keeps up the NOTHING he is doing now. A real nice guy. And a dud for a canidate.

You must be a Rudy fan to overlook how similar he is to the beast. Giuliani has said himself that he's in agreement with Hillary Clinton on just about everything. He is anti-gun, pro abortion, pro-gay, and has Soros connections.

With respect to Fred, he is hardley a dud what with all the new commercials, detailed proposals regarding illegal immigration, social security, and military spending, fundraisers, and appearances on news shows. In fact Fred is FAR mor substantive than Rudy on everything, its just the the liberal loving MSM, and the Beltway liberal pubbies, love Rudy and want him to be the GOP candidate and so he gets promoted while conservative Fred gets bashed. No surprise there at all.

First, Hillary is not my girl. Second, you have no way of knowing whether you are to the right of me, unless you are for Ron Paul, who is off the edge of the earth. Third, I am not a “sir.” Fourth, please be so kind to tell me who is your candidate, so I will know where you are coming from.

As I indicated, I’m for Fred. That makes me left-wing?

Fred? He’s doing MUCH better here lately, I’m ex-Romney myself, I think.

Thompson’s ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Q-FvCC_KHg&eurl=http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/showthread.php?t=52789

has aired nationwide, I’m leaning toward him now, I think. All these NY journalists just like Rudy because he’s a New Yorker as well.

Excellent comments. In addition to grassroots conservatives not volunteering, you’re going to see a ripple effect on all of the other Republican candidates. Why should conservatives vote for Republicans in Congressional or Senate races when their party leadership wants a pro-abortionist heading the ticket? Talk about coattails, Rudy doesn’t even carry the itchy tag on the back of a t-shirt.

First of all, I am not a Rudy supporter. I am a Hunter supporter. He is not going anywhere either so I have to pick who I will support even though I don't see eye to eye with everything they believe in. Its called making a decision. I am anti abortion and even divorced my first wife because she chose an abortion over my objections. I am just being realistic. If it comes down to Rudy, Mitt, or anyone else I will vote for them because they are not Hillary. They may make some bad choices but She will destroy this country and absolutely will chose a pro abortion Judge, open up the border WIDE, and give them drivers license and voter registration cards. She will do every thing the left wing wants and it will be your fault for taking your ball home and sticking to your principles and staying home. By the way thanks for election or Palosi and Reid as well.

“See reply 28. And if you are a Thompson or nobody person then the last post still applies Mame.”

You just assumed I am a “Thompson or nobody” person. I am for Fred Thompson in the primaries. I told you I am not Hillary’s girl. You assume too much about people you don’t know, and you need to get your pants out of a wad and quit with the attitude. This is the primary season.

I’ve always liked Duncan Hunter. I grew up in his district. If he appeared to be a viable candidate, I would seriously consider him. Meanwhile, I have high hopes for him as SecDef or some other important assignment.

So back off and quit assuming the worst. It reflects poorly on your candidate, but I don’t hold it against Duncan because I know him.

Lady you got tied up in a conversation with someone who said if it was Rudy they would stay home. No way would they vote for a baby killer. You inserted yourself. I am only referring to the people who will stay home if their person does not get the nod. I want Hunter but realize he won’t make it. I will vote for anyone who gets the nomination to keep out the Clinton machine. I If you read all of the posts when it comes to Thompson a large portion of the people state they won’t vote for Rudy, Romney, or McCain. I will have to hold my nose (especially if its McCain) but I will do what it takes to keep Hillary out.

Rudy has wrapped up the support of nearly all the elitist poofs from the Log Cabin Wall Street Journal Country Club for Growth wing of the party.

Club For Growth has been pretty even handed with all the candidates, I think. Of course, WSJ and Fox News are totally in the tank for both him and Hillary. More accurately, they want Hillary and Rudi is their backup.

we are in the primary NOT the main election.

The fact is Giuliani IS Hillary.

He is a hillary clinton clone. Hillary Clinton is ALREADY running to the RIGHT of Giuliani and that task is EASY.

The lesson of 2006 is DINO trumps RINO.

The GOP primary IS the presidential election. Hillary’s Clone is just as unacceptable in the primary as the general.

YOU make be comfortable being a one issue voter of “anyone but hillary” but the reality check is that a significant CHUNK of core republican voters will NEVER vote for Giuliani period. For them the vote is a personal statement to themselves not to you and can not be bought with “anyone but hillary”

Giuliani has a built in third party factor with no need for acutal third party.

Giuliani is defeat. It is literally Hillary (r) vs Hillary (d). On Judges, Abortion, Marriage, Gun control, taxation, and nanny state rules they are the same. Even if a nuanced argument can be made it does not matter because the perception trumps the kerryesque nuance.

Giuiliani is a serious problem to not just the presidency, he also brings in NEGATIVE COATTAILS by depressing the republican turnout.

No Giuliani, NO PROBLEM.

The primary is the election and a Giulain nominee is a victory for Hillary.

I’m with you. I like Duncan Hunter, but don’t know if he will still be in the race when my state has its primary. I listened to some of Rudy’s speech to the Federalist Society—he sounded great. I don’t know if we can trust him to follow through, but Hillary would never have spoken there—she’d prefer to have membership in the Federalist Society made a hate crime. Rudy is wrong on some important issues but right on others—Hillary is wrong, and dangerous, on them all. I don’t think Rudy will be the nominee, but we’d be better off if there was a conservative in the race who could speak as well as he does on topics like the war on terror. The alternative may be a Democrat President whose approach is appeasement.

Its people like you that will install the left here. You think like an 8 year old. Have fun with hill and bill because thats what you are asking for. I already said I will vote for Hunter in the primary but will vote for the GOP guy. Anyone who does not votes for Hillary and all the judges she nominates. You are an idiot.

This tells me what I've long suspected. Even the so-called "conservative media" isn't very conservative. They're just conservative enough not to be flushed by the networks who own them and are useful as punching bags for the libs.

This is why I get less and less of my news from "conservative" talk radio lately, and more from internet sources.

FNC is totally pro-GiulianiRhodham all the time.

You could clearly tell it the way Hanity asked the Post GOP debate interview questions. He gave Giuliani a full chance to answer the Marriage Defense issue and with Thompson he shut the question out. In fact in the far shot it was clear Hanity just wanted the interview to just end.

The exception would seem to be the infobimbos who seem to spin for Hillary.
