Thanks for the ping, freema. It's hard to make any sense of this case. From the article:

A statement by Sutton published on the Department of Justice website confirms Aldrete-Davila was arrested yesterday by agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Department of Homeland Security at the Ysleta Port of Entry in El Paso, Texas. A sealed indictment charged him with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana and with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in September and October 2005.

Both dates are prior to the Ramos and Compean trial.

The October 2005 date coincides with previous reports that Aldrete-Davila's attempted a second load Oct. 23, 2005, while under immunity from Sutton's office and possessed a border pass card issued by the Department of Homeland Security.

The indictment's mention of a September date suggests Davila was involved in multiple drug smuggling incidents after the Feb. 17, 2005, event with Ramos and Compean and before the trial began Oct. 12, 2006.

I haven't followed this case very closely. Is this article saying Aldrete Davila was caught smuggling at least two times after the original incident, and before this latest one? Amazing.

“We the People ARE the government. Our elected misrepresentatives think THEY are, but they’re not!”

The “people” have a tremendous amount if power IF THEY USE IT.
Most non-presidential elections have abysmal turnouts.
How many people attend their local party events and get involved? Very few. Then they bitch about who is running for office.
People need to get informed on the issues and get involved at the grassroots level. That is if they want to have an effect.
My bottom line opinion is that most people are content to complain, but not get involved.

I wish I could believe that.

The Mexicans are not that . . . clever. They’ve had to be puppets on a string for a very long time.

Lots of black ops stuff takes lots of money and well as for setting up the global government with all the super advanced surveillance, mind control etc. stuff . . . not to mention the camps when terrorists provide the next excuse for martial law. Imagine THAT under SHRILLERY/HITLERY/CHILLERY.

LORD, GOD,

Please send this prosecutor to fall head-long into his own pit. Cause all his accomplices to fall similarly into their own evils.

Free the innocent, Lord, ASAP.

He could be getting benefit.

He could also, with his family, be merely allowed to live longer.

>>>I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he were LITERALLY thrown under a bus, or found hanging in his cell by a sheet, or maybe choked to death on a peanut butter sandwich (must have been an allergic reaction), to be sure that he doesn’t talk about his ‘deal’ with Sutton.<<<

Since Sutton and the likes are doing what they please by throwing our BP in jail, why doesn’t our BP short-circuit all this? Here is what to do:

To BP:

- Don’t use your service weapons
- Start shooting back with your own personal weapons
- shoot to kill and make sure the criminals are dead
- If you get Suttoned/Nifonged stand together and none of you saw or heard anything about certain incidents (it must have been a drug war)
- If push comes to shove, ask how did our “authorities” hear about and investigate the incidents when criminals are killed and not investigating incidents of BP deaths and injuries?
- I bet your section will quiet down OR the Mexican army will interfere openly. That will be an International Incident and will wake up the sleepy Americans. We should learn from stopping the amnesty bill(s) that the cowards and traitors heard our voice, this time they will hear a roar to deploy our troops and protect our citizens.

BP, you’re not expendable, God bless.

I realize that it’s “against the law” to do this but that depends on the definition of the word law (false but accurate, said Clinton and Rather). The law that imprisons BP should be circumvented.

My bottom line opinion is that most people are content to complain, but not get involved.

Unfortunately, I think you are right on that one... At least right up until the Political Class does something that goes too far. Shamnesty went too far. Fortunately, the PolClass finally realized the extent and intensity of the popular reaction and backed down.

Had they not backed down, I believe there would have been a revolution--NOT the civil war they seem to want. I think they would see that as a chance to impose martial law and end all pretense of following our Constitution. With the populace divided against each other, they'd probably succeed.

IMO they figured out we--left, right and center--were starting to unite against THEM and not against each other. Hence the back down.

It would be a lot better if we could get involved earlier on a less incendiary and dangerous basis than all out revolt, but again I agree with you that most folks don't want to invest the time and energy when they're not being pushed past their limits of tolerance. The frog in the pot thing.

I agree that is a very distinct possibility. I thought the look on his face was dismay and misery at the shock of losing his favored status and fear of the impending jail sentence, but it's also likely he realizes the deep danger in his NEW status. Shades of Jim MacDougal. He sooo deserves it, but I'd hate to see Suttonfong get away with it.

I looked up the indictment for Alderete-Davila and it includes conspiracy charges from June 1, 2005 through November 30, 2005, with a specific charges of possession with intent to distribute on September 24, 2005 and October 23, 2005. There are no illegal activities noted after the November 30, 2005 reference.

They issues the warrant for OAD’s arrest on October 22, 2007.

Sutton deserves the same fate as nifong for using the BP agents in his twisted logic for political favor.
