“in Solitary to protect them”.
They need to be in a minimum security prison at the very least. This “Solitary Confinement” is cruel beyond any neccessity. 23 hours a day with total isolation with only a radio and a Bible.
Even in Texas, this sort of treatment is limited to the most dangerous of inmates and to Death Row.

They should be pardoned, reinstated, promoted and given back pay.

I hope one day Alberto Gonzales and Johnny Sutton share the jail cell now occupied by Ramos and Compean.

Of one thing I am certain.....

God (not AlGore) gave us computers, and the internet. And God gave FReepers this forum (and Jim) so the truth could be spread. Thank God for Jim!

This scummy little drug dealer will be thrown under the bus.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he were LITERALLY thrown under a bus, or found hanging in his cell by a sheet, or maybe choked to death on a peanut butter sandwich (must have been an allergic reaction), to be sure that he doesn't talk about his 'deal' with Sutton.

Sutton is a long time Bush Buddy. That explains it completely.

I saw Sutton on Glenn Beck months ago, tryign to defend himself, and Gonzales and Bush by extension. What a sorry display of tortured logic that was.

Most of these prosecutors are pieces of sh*t. They spend their time trying to get people caught in little mistakes, which they then pump up to the grand terms "Perjury" and "Obstruction of Justice", as they did with Lewis Libby. These prosecutors are the kids you hated in school--the tattle-tales who ran to the teacher pointing their fingers about every transgression no matter how small. Smarmy, know it alls you could not stand. Well, they grew up and became Lawrence Walsh, Patrick Fitzgerald and Johnny Sutton.

Even if the agents were wrong, why are they in solitary and treated as the worst criminals in history?

Actually, because of where they put the agents, that HAVE TO BE segregated from the population, otherwise they'd be dead by now. If you remember, one of the agents was in general population for a very short time, and was terribly beaten.

I have to say that I'm pretty "hard core" when it comes to "law and order" and punishment... But this really pisses me off. I'm a very strong believer that if police or public officials railroad innocent defendants and hide or falsify evidence for a conviction, then those "public servants" should have to serve the entire sentence handed down on the innocent, with no chance of parole or appeal.

It amazes me how jorge bush defends sutton.

Perhaps the President is merely amused.

Watch the whole thing (1 1/2 min). You can almost believe him until the reporter gives the rest of the President's comments. George Bush denies the existence of the Trans-Texas Corridor and the NAFTA Super Highway to go through heartland America all the way to Canada. The President described it as "comical" and that they all got "quite a chuckle" from it.

Denying the existence of something so well documented as the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) owned by a foreign company, Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., and the connotations of what it will pave the way for has made it clear that the President has nothing to do with governing from the consent of American Citizens. He has his own agenda and there is not a damn thing that will change that.

What is truly humorous is TEXDOT presenting a plan for a ten-lane limited-access highway to parallel I-35 with three lanes each way for passenger cars, two express lanes each way for trucks, rail lines both ways for people and freight, plus a utility corridor for oil and natural gas pipelines, electric towers, cables for communication, and telephone lines... that seems to "just stop" at the Oklahoma border.

Right. Suuure thing. Now that is a real knee slapper, huh?

I really believe that he doesn't think their is anyone among us who wants to sell out our sovereignty because it seems so unreal...or he thinks they have zero chances of succeeding.

I think he is mistaken. There is a real concentrated effort to bring down this country...I see it in all the fibers of the culture and the politics.

I distinctly remember many Freepers spoke of how BAD GWB would be as a GOP candidate in 2000

We voted against Algore, not for GWB

Sutton lies like a sociopath, and he has to be one to send innocent men to prison and look smug about it.

Please understand, I think they’re suffering a terrible injustice. I was just trying to explain why they’re in solitary. It’s definitely not right.

Is that a bullet proof vest I see being escorted by the DEA? I am glad people have not forgotten about those poor agents. They’ve already been in prison longer than most illegal alien drunk driving murderers.

A ping and a bump. Dana R. gets mentioned but Hunter is doing the legwork on this. No matter, Bush isn’t listening to any of them! Lame duck is an understatement.
