Glad you brought that up. Steffie did say they had determined in the autopsy that she was brain dead. FRed did allow it to go by, obviously he wanted to move off of it. I can understand that.
It seemed obvious to this untrained observer, that she was not brain dead at all. Although, I have been reassured by my liberal friends that you can, in fact, laugh and feign emotion even when you’re brain dead, to wit: harry reid, nancy pelosi, hildedebeast, etc.
Question I have is...can an autopsy determine whether or not a person was brain dead? I thought they needed a live brain to determine that.

There were other things he said about the Schiavo case I disagree with, along with more reiteration of his veiws about states’ rights vs. unalienable rights. I’ll come back later and address them more fully once I’ve had a chance to read a transcript of his remarks.
Fred would not want to get into a discussion about the medical definition of "brain-dead". Nor would I, but I believe it's just another area where the several states have set their own standards for determining it. Fred's running for President, not Surgeon General.
