I agree that the game has been rigged. Hillary is the nominee, no matter what. The thing is, between Obama and Edwards I think she will suffer some serious damage. Because of that, I also think they will be unlikely to be considered as VP.

It will be a Hillary/Richardson ticket in the general election.

True...but......

Any candidate is one news cycle away from a potential Deaniac scream or Allen macaca moment or Lazio encroachment.

If Hillary shows a few more weaknesses and flubs, as with the driver's license screw up, the Dems will drop her. If she appears to be polling significant negatives, they will drop her. They want to win. If it appears Hillary cannot give them that, they will drop her.
